专业沿革

艺术教育专业溯源1981年建立的美术师范系(现美术教育学院),1992年原国家教委体卫艺司将美术教育学院定为全国美术院校美术教育专业中唯一的改革试点单位。由教育部体卫艺司主办的“2003年全国艺术院校教育专业改革座谈会”、由中国教育学会美术教育专业委员会主办的“2009年全国高校国际视野下的美术教育专业改革学术研讨会”、由世界华人美术教育学会主办的“2013年第四届世界华人美术教育大会”皆由本专业所在学院承办,2015年在原有丰厚历史积淀的基础之上成立艺术教育专业并开始招生,2021年获批省一流专业建设点。目前办学地点为广州美术学院大学城校区。

This program can be traced back to the Department of Art Education (now the School of Art Education) established in 1981. The School of Art Education was designated as the only pilot for reform of art education across China by the Department of Physical, Health and Arts Education of the former State Education Commission in 1992. It undertook the National Symposium on Educational Reform of Art Universities sponsored by the Department of Physical, Health and Arts Education of the Ministry of Education in 2003, the Symposium on the Reform of Art Education Programs of Chinese Universities from an International Perspective sponsored by Chinese Society of Education in 2009, and the 4th Symposium of World Chinese Arts Education Association in 2013. Building on the school’s history and development, the program of Art Education was established in 2015 and began accepting students in the same year. In 2021, it was approved for the development of Guangdong provincial first-class undergraduate program. The program is offered at GAFA Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center Campus.

本专业在高艺术水平的氛围中强化师范生的专业能力,依托广州美术学院浓厚的艺术氛围和40年的师范教育办学经验,在广东省学校艺术教育活动(美术)培训基地、广东省美术与设计教育培训中心、粤港澳大湾区美术与设计教育发展联盟秘书处和“中国南粤古驿道研究中心”的支持下,建立艺术、教育、管理的综合性跨学科教育格局,为粤港澳大湾区输出具创新性的教育力量。

This program enhances students’ competence in an artistic atmosphere. With GAFA’ artistic attainments and 40 years of experience in normal education, we strive to form a comprehensive interdisciplinary pattern featuring art, education and management, and contribute to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area with its innovative education. The program is supported by Guangdong Provincial Training Base for Art Education Activities (Fine Arts) of Schools, Guangdong Provincial Education and Training Center for Fine Arts and Design, the Secretariat of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Art and Design Education Development Alliance, and the South China Historical Trails Research Center.

本专业立足于粤港澳大湾区学校和博物馆公共教育,将先进教育理念与丰富的人文艺术知识相结合,培养德智体美全面发展;掌握现代艺术教育所必需的基本理论、专业知识和技能;具有先进的教育理念与丰富的人文知识;具备综合艺术素养和教学实践技能、教育策划能力的复合型艺术教育人才。学生毕业时能胜任学校及社会教育机构教学、管理、策划等工作,未来能在教育领域中起到示范作用,成为专业骨干教师或艺术教育领域学科带头人。

Based on public education for schools and museums in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, we combine advanced educational concepts with knowledge of humanities and arts to train versatile and well-rounded art talents. The talents are required to master the basic and professional knowledge and skills necessary for modern art education, have advanced educational concepts, rich humanistic knowledge, comprehensive artistic literacy, teaching and planning capabilities. Our graduates are expected to be competent in teaching, management and planning in education institutions. They should serve as role models in education and become the professional mainstays or leaders of disciplines in art education.

Curriculum Design

培养规格

学制四年,学分182, 授予学位为艺术学学士学位。毕业生的知识、能力和素质:1.具有人文科学的基础知识和艺术和教育学科的专业知识;2.掌握教育调研分析的基本方法,具有认知和调研的能力,能综合不同学科知识进行艺术创作、教学设计和策划的能力3.具有强烈的社会责任感,良好的身心素质和教师素养,了解本专业前沿发展现状和趋势,具有团队合作精神和协调管理能力,具有创新精神、创业意识和创新创业能力。

Students of the 4-year program should obtain 182 credits before they can be conferred a Bachelor of Arts degree. Graduates are expected to possess knowledge, abilities and competence including (1) basic knowledge of humanities and expertise in arts and education; (2) basic methods of educational research and analysis, cognitive and research capabilities, ability to apply knowledge across different disciplines to artistic creation and teaching design; and (3) a strong sense of social responsibility, good physical and mental health, professionalism, understanding of the current situation and trends of latest art education development, team spirit, coordination and management ability, innovative thinking and entrepreneurship.

Courses

课程体系

由全校公共课和专业课程构成。全校公共课包括思想政治理论课、公共文化课、创新创业课、学科基础课、全校通选课,专业课程包括教师教育课程、专业基础课、专业拓展课。核心课程作为本专业中最核心的理论和技能为内容的课程,约占总学分20%,如:戏剧艺术、艺术表达与教育实践、专业考察、教育展示、毕业论文、毕业设计等。与实践教学相关课程有教育实习、教育见习、微格教学等。

Students take both public courses and professional courses. The former includes public culture courses, innovation and entrepreneurship courses, basic courses, and general electives, while the latter refers to normal education courses, professional basic courses, and professional development courses. Core courses of the program, based on theories and skills, account for about 20% of the total credits. They are Drama Art, Artistic Expression and Educational Practice, Professional Inspection, Educational Presentation, Graduation Thesis and Graduation Design. Practical teaching courses include Educational Practice, Educational Internship, and Micro-teaching.

师资队伍

本专业现在专任教师数量结构能够适应本教学和发展的需要,教师队伍具有高级职称教师占有教师比50%,高学历(博士以上)所占比重达到88%,教师梯队结构合理、队伍稳定、素质良好。近5年面向海内外引进博士人才7人。同时进一步优化了师资结构,支持和鼓励教师境外研修,目前已有数位专业教师前往德国、法国等交流访学。

Currently, full-time teachers meet teaching and development needs. Those with a senior professional title account for 50%, and the proportion of highly educated (PhD and higher) teachers reaches 88%. The faculty is well-structured, stable and capable. In the past 5 years, 7 doctors from home and abroad have been employed to further optimize faculty structure. We support and encourage teachers to study abroad. Some are now in Germany and France for exchanges and study.

教学条件

教学实验设备总价值4百多万元,可用于该专业的教学实验设备数量934件,实践教学基地42个,拥有基础教学技能实验室,教学专业技能实训平台、线观摩实验平台等,目前已形成了“科研促进教学、科研滋养教学”教学模式。推进现有基层教学组织运行和管理机制,形成了系统有效的教改项目孵化、教材研讨与编写等工作。

There are 934 pieces of teaching equipment for this program, with a total value of over 4 million CNY (around 550,000 USD). Students can use 42 practical teaching bases, basic teaching skills laboratories, professional teaching skills training platforms, and online observation and experimental platforms, which allows mutual promotion between scientific research and teaching. Efforts have been made to enhance teaching and management, with achievements made in education reform project incubation, teaching materials discussion and compilation.

教学成果

近5来本专业师生成果丰硕,专任教师获国家级和省部级教学成果奖共3项、教学名师与教育团队科研项目5个、课程与教材8本、实验和实践教学平台7个、教学改革项目3个,教师主持的省部级以上课题、发表核心论文、获奖作品共62项。学生通过对当下不同领域的艺术教育问题展开研究和实践,主持国家级、省级项目8项,在文、体、美、劳等不同类别的获奖共62项。以上成果从不同维度反应了教师和学生的专业能力、学术水平和综合素养。

In the past 5 years, teachers and students of the program have yielded fruitful results. Our teachers won 3 national and provincial/ministerial teaching achievement awards. We have developed 5 famous teacher and educational team research projects, 8 courses and textbooks, 7 experimental and practical teaching platforms, 3 teaching reform projects, and 62 core essays and award-winning projects at the provincial level or above. Our students study and practice on art education problems in various fields. They have presided over 8 national and provincial projects, and won a total of 62 awards in different fields such as literature, sports and arts. These achievements showcase the professionalism, academic strength and comprehensive quality of our teachers and students.
