专业沿革

广州美术学院是全国重点艺术院校，中国“八大美院”之一，华南及粤港澳大湾区唯一一所独立建制的高等美术学府。在近70年发展历程中，涌现大批现代设计的先行者。自80年代起，广美在全国同类院校中率先进行产学研探索，设计学科发展突飞猛进。80年代中期与华南理工大学合作引入建筑学科相关课程，90年代初进行建筑教学团队建设，建筑学专业于2004年获得批准，2008年开始招生。 

目前，建筑学专业在大学城校区办学。

GAFA is a national key art academy, one of the “eight academies of fine arts” in China, and the only independent higher education institution of fine arts in south China and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Over the past nearly 70 years, it has trained a large number of pioneers and trendsetters of modern design. Since the 1980s, it has taken the lead in industry-education-research integration among universities across China, and has spared no effort in developing design. We introduced courses related to Architecture in cooperation with South China University of Technology in the mid-1980s, and formed a teacher team for architecture in the early 1990s. The Architecture program was approved in 2004, and we started to accept students in 2008.
 
This program is offered at GAFA Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center Campus.

专业根植广美艺术土壤，强调“艺术、人文、科学、技术”相融合，强调艺术与技术的高度结合，追求创意先导的教学理念。专业基于以建筑美学为主轴打造理论课程体系，回归“匠人精神”，以“跨界创新”为教学育人模式，强调当代建筑学的开放性与艺术性，熔铸具有美院特色的艺术人文气质，培养具有跨界创新素质的建筑创作与研究人才。

Rooted in the artistic soil of GAFA, this program emphasizes the convergence of art, humanities, science and technology, as well as the integration of art and technology. We pursue creativity-led education, adhere to craftsmanship, and adopt cross-sector innovation as the education mode. Our theoretical curriculum system is based on architectural aesthetics. We emphasize the openness and artistry of contemporary architecture, foster artistic and humanistic grace with GAFA characteristics, and train versatile innovative architecture talents.

广州美术学院建筑学专业坚持立德树人，培养具有社会责任感、创新精神和实践能力的高水平艺术人才和文化创意人才，着力培养适应新时代、勇于担当重任的拔尖艺术人才，将当代建筑艺术及其它艺术形式同现代的科学技术和社会需求紧密结合，积极开展跨领域的国际合作，致力于艺术引领下的城市文化与建筑艺术的创造性实践训练，培养视野开阔、人文素养、兼具实践能力和创新精神的城市与建筑设计创新型人才。

This program values morality, and strives to train outstanding artistic, creative, innovative and pragmatic talents with a sense of social responsibility and adaptive to new trends. We combine contemporary architecture and other forms of art with modern science and technology as well as social needs, engage in cross-sector international cooperation and the creative and practical training of urban culture and architectural art, with an aim to cultivate humanistic, pragmatic and innovative talents with a broad vision.

Curriculum Design

培养规格

学制5年，授予工学学士学位。

 培养学生具备强烈的社会责任感、较高的职业道德，和面向未来发展的专业素质和身心素质，具有自然科学、人文科学和文化艺术基本素养；了解建筑学专业的应用发展前景和行业需求，熟悉相关的方针政策、法律法规和技术标准，具有一定的环境适应、团队合作和协调沟通能力；了解本专业的历史，现状和前沿发展状况和趋势，掌握本专业知识和设计实践技能，具备融会贯通多学科知识的能力；掌握一门外语，具有一定的环境适应、团队合作和协调沟通能力。

This is a 5-year program. Graduates are conferred a Bachelor of Engineering degree.
 
Students are expected to…
 
(1) have a strong sense of social responsibility, professional ethics, future-oriented vision, good physical and mental health, and literacy in natural sciences, humanities, culture, art;
 
(2) understand the prospects and needs of the industry, relevant policies, laws, regulations and technical standards;
 
(3) have team spirit, adaptive, master coordination and communication skills;
 
(4) understand the history, current situation and latest development trends of the industry, master architectural knowledge and skills, and be able to apply knowledge across industries;
 
and (5) master a foreign language.

Courses

课程体系

本专业构建“1+3+1”的专业培养模式，一年级建筑学专业与环境设计、风景园林专业进行设计课程打通，课程体系实施跨专业整合，二三四年级进行专业化方向培养，毕业设计环节教学再次进行多学科融合，让学生在建筑学基础上释放跨界融合和创新潜能。

This program adopts a “1+3+1” training mode. In the first-year, students take design courses and courses for Environmental Design, Landscape Architecture following a cross-program curricular design. In the second, third and fourth years, they undergo professional training. And in the final year, students prepare their graduation design and receive cross-disciplinary training again, empowered to unleash their potential of cross-sector innovation based on Architecture.

Faculty

师资队伍

现建筑学专业教师队伍中具有专业博士学位或博士在读的教师超过50%，具有专业高级职称教师超过45%，其中国务院津贴专家1人。专业教师毕业于英国剑桥大学、法国巴黎第八大学、奥地利维也纳理工大学、清华大学、华南理工大学、广州美术学院、中央美术学院、重庆大学、香港大学、澳门科技大学等国内外名校，同时吸纳大批国际学术背景的多学科结构人才、邀请国内优秀设计机构的设计大师实质性参与美院教学，推动建筑教学的多元实验探索。

More than 50% of our faculty have a doctorate or are pursuing a doctoral degree, and more than 45% have a senior professional title. In particular, 1 expert is subsidized by the State Council. The teachers are graduates from the University of Cambridge, Paris 8 University Vincennes-Saint-Denis in France, Vienna University of Technology in Austria, Tsinghua University, South China University of Technology, GAFA, Central Academy of Fine Arts, Chongqing University, University of Hong Kong, and Macau University of Science and Technology. We try our best to recruit talents from various disciplines with international academic backgrounds, and invite design masters from excellent domestic design institutions to teach at GAFA in exploration of diverse experimental education.

Teaching Facilities

教学条件

专业课程教学具有专用的班级教室和多媒体课室，配备有工作模型制作和多媒体演示设备，以及互联网条件；除大学公共图书馆外，所在学院还独立设有涵盖风景园林、建筑学、环境设计三个专业所需艺术设计图书资料室；实验室资源包括大学共用模型工作室、开放式校园景观试验场地，以及学院建设管理的空间营建实验室、艺术与光环境设计实验室等；本专业还与省级建筑与环境艺术设计实验教学示范中心、省级环境设计与社会创新重点实验室合作，同时联合国内外知名院校开展工作坊进行联合研究，协同知名企业共建实践基地共同完成教学实践，实现“跨界融合”课程机制。

We have multimedia classrooms with model making and multimedia presentation equipment. Apart from the public library of GAFA, students have access to an independent art and design library for Landscape Architecture, Architecture, and Environmental Design programs. Other facilities include model studios shared with other schools, open campus landscape test sites, space construction laboratories built and managed by GAFA, and art and light environmental design laboratories. Besides, we host workshops for joint research in collaboration with the Guangdong Architectural and Environmental Art Design Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center, the Guangdong Environmental Design and Social Innovation Key Laboratory, renowned universities at home and abroad. We also establish practice bases together with enterprises, having created a cross-sector curricular mechanism.

教学成果

本专业于2019年获广东教育教学成果奖（高等教育类）一等奖； 

本专业于2019年被评为省级一流本科专业建设点； 

本专业负责人沈康于2018年被中国建筑装饰协会评为教育突出贡献人物奖；

 创意先导的建筑环境艺术应用人才培养模式创新实验区于2017年被评为省级人才培养模式创新实验区； 

建筑与环境艺术设计实验教学示范中心于2017年被评为省级实验教学示范中心。

This program wonthe first prize of Guangdong Education and Teaching Achievement Award (HigherEducation) in 2019. 

It was approvedfor the development of Guangdong provincial first-class undergraduate programin 2019.

Head of the programShen Kang won the Outstanding Award for Contribution to Education awarded bythe China Building Decoration Association in 2018.

Creativity-ledInnovative Experimental Zone for Talent Training in Architectural Environmentand Art was rated as a provincial-level talent training model experimental zonein 2017.
