本专业核心课程主要有：影像基础、空间概念设计、影视画面造型、人物造型设计、灯光设计、虚拟舞美设计、影视特效、多媒体短片创作、策划与编导、节奏与韵律、地域文化影像考察、专题创作1、专题创作2、毕业创作与毕业创作报告书。教学实践内容与类型有影视画面造型、灯光设计、多媒体短片创作、人物造型设计、地域文化影像考察、毕业创作等。实践教学的方式包括实验室教学、实践基地实习、社会考察调研、产学研等。实践教学课程有51学分，816学时。实践教学预期达到的效果及目的为通过实践教学促进学生理论联系实际，探索知识、发现知识的能力，培养学生创新精神和创新能力,加强社会意识和合作精神,提高学生的综合素质和科学的价值观。

Practical teaching covers film and television graphics and lighting design, multimedia short film creation, character design, regional cultural image investigation, graduation creation, which take the forms of laboratory teaching, practice base learning, social investigation, and industry-academic-research collaboration.
