2024年12月3日上午，西班牙瓦伦西亚艺术设计学院一行到校访问交流。我校副院长蔡拥华、李金水，湾区创新学院院长、国际合作与交流处处长伍端，工艺美术学院院长助理方昕、教授谭红宇等参加接待并座谈。
On the morning of December 3, 2024, a delegation from Escola Superior de Disseny de València (EASD Valencia) visited Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and joined a symposium between the two parties. Attendees from our side included Cai Yonghua and Li Jinshui, both are Vice President of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Wu Duan, Dean of the Innovation School of GBA and Director of the Foreign Affairs Office, Fang Xin, Assistant to the Dean of School of Arts and Crafts, and Professor Tan Hongyu.
蔡拥华对西班牙瓦伦西亚艺术设计学院一行表示热烈欢迎，同时感谢该校对我校多次访问的盛情接待。会上，蔡拥华从学校发展的三个阶段介绍了学校人才培养、科学研究、社会服务和国际交流等情况。他表示，当前新一轮科技革命瞬息万变、产业变革日新月异、发展机遇前所未有、国际交流日益频繁，广州美术学院地处粤港澳大湾区，与广府历史人文渊源深厚，具有极强的开拓性与包容性，希望与西班牙瓦伦西亚艺术设计学院抓住艺术与科技教育创新变革的巨大机遇，共同开启两校未来深入合作的新篇章。
Cai Yonghua extended a warm welcome to the delegation and thanked EASD Valencia for its hospitality to GAFA’s delegation during previous visits to it. At the symposium, he shared with guests GAFA’s talent training, scientific research, social services, international exchanges and other aspects across its three development stages. GAFA, a strongly pioneering and inclusive academy situated in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, embraces deep historical and cultural connections with Guangdong. In the context of a new round of scientific and technological revolution, ever- changing landscape of various industries, unprecedented development opportunities, and increasingly frequent international exchanges, Cai hopes that both parties can seize huge opportunities arising from innovation and reform of art and technology education, and jointly open a new chapter of in-depth cooperation in the future.
西班牙瓦伦西亚艺术设计学院校长Rosa Esteban Esteban女士对我校的热情接待表示感谢，并介绍了该校发展情况。她表示，西班牙瓦伦西亚是世界设计之都，坐落于此的西班牙瓦伦西亚艺术设计学院拥有175年的发展历史，有着天然的设计基因。自上世纪90年代以来，该校开启了以“项目制”为引领的设计教学模式改革，目前已形成以时装设计、产品设计、平面设计、室内设计、摄影和珠宝设计为代表的6大强势专业，希望通过与广州美术学院的交流，为两校未来合作发展创造新的契机。
Ms. Rosa Esteban Esteban, President of EASD Valencia, expressed her gratitude for warm reception from GAFA and gave an introduction of EASD Valencia, a school with a history of 175 years. Valencia, the city where the school is located, is renowned as the world’s design capital, so EASD Valencia is naturally endowed with design gene. Since the 1990s, it has started teaching reform led by “project-based programs”. Now it offers 6 competitive majors, namely Fashion Design, Product Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Photography, and Jewellery. Rosa hoped that through exchanges with GAFA, both parties can create new opportunities for future cooperation and development.
会上，双方就专业教学、合作框架、产教融合等方面议题进行了深入探讨。下午，西班牙瓦伦西亚艺术学院一行在李金水副院长的陪同下实地参观了学校学生就业指导中心，深入了解广美学子创业创新特色培育和项目孵化情况。
The two parties also conducted in-depth discussions on teaching, cooperation framework, industry-education integration and more. In the afternoon, accompanied by Vice President Li Jinshui, the delegation visited GAFA’s Student Employment Guidance Center, where they gained an in-depth understanding of GAFA’s entrepreneurship and innovation programs and project incubation.
