专业沿革

广州美术学院五十年代即开设了环境艺术设计相关课程,环境设计专业于1986年核准设立(第一批)。历经半个多世纪的发展,环境设计涌现出尹定邦、赵健、吴卫光等一批学术名家和郑忠、梁建国等大量杰出校友。本专业是中国产学研结合设计教育模式的先行者,以“集美现象”闻名全国,多次斩获全国美展金银大奖,研究成果应用于全国29个省市。建筑艺术设计学院作为广东省高校建筑与环境艺术设计专业学术委员会主任单位,近年来持续开展学术交流活动,已形成品牌效应,积极引领大湾区环境艺术设计学术交流,有力推动本专业的示范化建设。

环境设计专业还设有装饰艺术设计方向,坚持“让陈设艺术回到生活”的教学理念,为社会培养基础扎实、现代意识浓厚、社会触角敏锐的装饰艺术设计人才。目前,环境设计专业在大学城校区办学。

In the 1950s, GAFA set up courses related to environmental art design. Environmental Design program was approved and established in 1986 (one of the first programs). After more than half a century’s development, Environmental Design has nurtured a number of academic celebrities such as Yin Dingbang, Zhao Jian and Wu Weiguang and a large number of outstanding alumni such as Zheng Zhong and Liang Jianguo. This program is the forerunner of China’s design education model combining production, education and research. It is famous for its exclusively-invested enterprise Jimei. It has won gold and silver awards at National Exhibition of Fine Arts, China many times. Its research results have been applied in 29 provinces and cities across China. As the director unit of the Academic Committee for Architectural and Environmental Art Design Programs of Colleges and Universities in Guangdong Province, the School of Architecture and Applied Arts keeps holding academic exchange activities in recent years, and has formed a brand effect. It actively leads academic exchanges of environmental art and applied art in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and effectively promotes the demonstrative construction of this program.

Environmental Design also sets Decorative Art Design concentration. Adhering to the teaching concept “let display art back to life”, we aim to train decorative art design talents with a solid foundation, strong modern awareness and keen social insights for the society.

At present, courses are offered at GAFA Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center Campus.

Relying on national characteristic programs, national design skills education, experiment and teaching center and other platforms, we strive to design a knowledge system of human settlement environment combining contemporary art and design systematically and design methods, and cultivate design capabilities by combining theory and practice. We also promote the construction of new liberal arts which integrate resources and strive for cross-border integration. To serve national development strategies and demands, we continue to train high-level innovative talents of environmental art design.

本专业培养适应我校章程“学校以人才培养为根本任务,立德树人,培养具有社会责任感、创新精神和实践能力的高水平艺术人才和文化创意人才”,掌握专业基础理论、相关学科领域理论知识与专业技能,和具备设计实践能力,尤其当代建筑、当代艺术和当代设计的思潮与流派等方面的知识,能在高等艺术学校从事环境设计或教学、研究工作,在艺术环境设计机构从事室内空间设计、室内装修设计、陈设配套设计和室内物理环境设计的高素质环境艺术设计人才。

Our goal is to train excellent environmental art design talents who meet GAFA’s constitution (GAFA takes talent training as its fundamental task, strengthens moral education, and strives to cultivate high-level artistic and cultural creative talents with social responsibility, innovation spirit and practical capabilities), master basic theories of environmental design, theoretical knowledge and professional skills of related disciplines, design practice capabilities and knowledge of contemporary architecture, contemporary art and contemporary design trends and schools, and can take up environmental design, teaching or research in higher art schools and interior space design, interior decoration design, furnishings design and indoor physical environmental design in environmental art design institutions.

学制4年,授予艺术学学士学位。

培养学生具有强烈的社会责任感,良好的身体素质和心理素质,较好的人文社科知识和艺术修养。本专业学生主要学习环境艺术的基本理论和基本知识,接受造型艺术与审美、历史理论与人文素质、建筑学的基本训练,掌握专业设计与实践的基本能力;具有扎实的环境艺术基本理论和基本知识,掌握环境艺术设计创作、理论、技术等的专业知识,了解环境艺术设计的前沿发展现状和趋势;掌握环境艺术分析的基本方法,具有对于室内外环境设计工程中遇到的科研、教学、设计等方面问题进行分析和研究的能力;具有一定的创新精神、创业意识和创新创业能力。

This 4-year program grants the Bachelor of Arts degree.

We aim to cultivate students with a strong sense of social responsibility, good physical and psychological quality, knowledge of humanities and social sciences and artistic quality. Our students mainly learn basic theory and knowledge of environmental art, including environmental art design and creation, theories, techniques, the latest development trends of environmental art design, etc. Our students will also receive basic training for plastic arts, aesthetics, historical theories, humanistic quality and architecture, and master basic design and practice capabilities, basic methods of environmental art analysis for problems in scientific research, teaching, design and other aspects in indoor and outdoor environmental design engineering. Finally, our students will form innovation and entrepreneurship spirits and capabilities.

本专业提出"融合创新、艺筑集成、思行并重"的教学新理念;积极探索教学新方法,建构了专业内涵平衡与融合并重的“三段式”的课程体系:一年级实施泛专业基础教学,二、三年级为专业核心课程,四年级实施跨专业工作室教学;积极创造信息化教学新形态,打造精品视频公开课、VR教学等新形态课程;不断推动专业教学体系的改革与提升,积极探索面向跨界创新的人才培养模式,推进新文科建设。

We uphold the new teaching idea of “integrated innovation, integration of art and architecture, and equal emphasis on theory and practice”. After active exploration of new teaching methods, we have set up a “three-stage” curriculum system with balanced and integrated professional connotations: pan-professional basic teaching for semester 1, professional core courses for semesters 2-3, and interdisciplinary studio teaching for semester 4. In terms of new-form information teaching, we offer high-quality open video courses and VR courses. We also constantly promote the reform and improvement of the professional teaching system, actively explore the training mode for cross-border innovation talents, and push forward the construction of new liberal arts.

师资队伍

 本专业以尹定邦、高永坚等国家级教学名师为学术后盾,通过激励教师晋升、鼓励教师进修、引进优秀人才、吸纳多学缘结构人才等举措,形成了一支结构优化、整体素质水平高的教学团队。目前本专业拥有高级职称教员超过50%,其中国务院津贴专家1人,二级教授3人。师资的专业方向呈多元复合的趋势,包含环境艺术设计(艺术类)、建筑学(理工类)和风景园林(农林类)等多个专业。通过“名师、名企、名校”协同计划,建立开放的教师平台;每年聘请20人次校外专家担任外聘教师、评图专家;聘请方晓风、郑忠、辛向阳、刘晓都等知名学者、行业专家为荣誉教授、客座教授。

We have nationally famous teachers such as Yin Dingbang and Gao Yongjian. By encouraging teachers’ promotion and self-improvement and introducing outstanding talents with various origins of academic degrees, we have established a teaching team with an optimized structure and high overall quality. At present, more than 50% teachers hold senior titles, including 1 expert enjoying the State Council allowance and 3 second-level professors. Our teachers have experiences in Environmental Art Design (art), Architecture (science and engineering), Landscape Architecture (agriculture and forestry) and so on. Through the collaborative plan combining “famous teachers, famous enterprises and famous schools”, we have established an open teacher platform. Every year, we hire 20 experts as part-time teachers and painting assessment experts. Fang Xiaofeng, Zheng Zhong, Xin Xiangyang, Liu Xiaodu and other well-known scholars and industry experts serve as honorary professors and visiting professors.

Teaching Facilities

教学条件

专业课程教学具有专用的班级教室和多媒体课室,配备有工作模型制作和多媒体演示设备,以及互联网条件;除大学公共图书馆外,所在学院还独立设有涵盖环境设计风景园林、建筑学、三个专业所需艺术设计图书资料室;实验室资源包括大学共用模型工作室、空间营建实验室,以及学院建设管理的数字化建造空间营造实验室、艺术与光环境设计实验室、纤维艺术实验室等;本专业还与校外企业如尚诺柏纳、松本照明、CCD等企业共建校外教学实践基地。

This program allocates ordinary classrooms and multimedia classrooms equipped with working model making and multimedia demonstration equipment as well as Internet for specialized courses. In addition to a public library, the school also has an art and design library for Environmental Design, Landscape Architecture and Architecture. As for laboratories, there are sharing model studio and a space construction laboratory shared by all GAFA’s schools as well as a digital construction space laboratory, an art and light environmental design laboratory and a fiber art laboratory established and managed by the school. We also have off-campus teaching practice bases jointly built with enterprises, such as SNP, Matsumoto Lighting, CCD and so on.

教学成果

本专业深化专业综合改革成果丰硕,多次获国家级、省级教学平台立项和奖励。获得精品课、特色专业等省级立项15项;开展各级教改项目10项,其中省级重点教改项目3项;获国家级、省级教学奖励11项;编著并出版各类教材12本、发表教学创新研究相关论文18篇;2014年获得省级教学成果奖二等奖;2019年被评为国家级级一流本科专业建设点。

本专业人才培养成效显著。学生在校期间获得国际级竞赛一等奖1项、三等奖项1项;国家级金奖3项、三等奖6项;省级一等奖2项、三等奖8项;获“挑战杯”广东省大学生创业大赛银奖1项,广东省“挑战杯”竞赛二等奖1项;国家级、省级大学生创新创业项目15项。目前广东各高校环境设计专业的学科带头人、负责人大部分毕业于本专业;全球排名第三的知名设计机构CCD的创始人郑忠也毕业于本专业。

This program has achieved fruitful results in deepening the comprehensive program reform. For example, we have won many national and provincial teaching platform projects and awards, including 15 provincial projects for quality courses and characteristic programs, 10 educational reform projects at all levels (including 3 provincial key educational reform projects) and 11 national and provincial teaching awards. We have compiled and published 12 textbooks and 18 papers related to teaching innovation research. In 2014, we won the second prize of Guangdong Province Teaching Achievement Award. In 2019, we were selected for the construction of national first-class undergraduate program.

This program has also achieved remarkable results in talent training. Our students won 1 first prize and 1 third prize in international competitions, 3 national gold awards, 6 national third prizes, 2 provincial first prizes, 8 provincial third prizes, 1 silver award of the “Challenge Cup” Guangdong University Students Entrepreneurship Competition, 1 second prize of the “Challenge Cup” Entrepreneurship Competition for Guangdong College Students, and 15 national and provincial university students innovation and entrepreneurship projects. At present, academic leaders and principals of Environmental Design program in Guangdong mostly graduated from this program, including Zheng Zhong, founder of CCD, the world’s third largest design agency.
