为丰富留学生课外教育学习活动，学习和了解岭南文化、岭南园林建筑等传统艺术，留学生办公室于5月28日组织现在校留学生等赴佛山市顺德区中华文化传承基地清晖园开展课外教育学习活动。

To enrich the extracurricular learning experiences of international students and help them gain insights into traditional arts such as Lingnan culture and Lingnan garden architecture, on May 28, the International Students Office organized on-campus international students to visit Qinghui Garden, a renowned Chinese cultural heritage site in Shunde, Foshan.

通过参观清晖园，留学生们对岭南庭院、江南园林雅致古朴、轻巧灵活的建筑特色赞叹不已，生动地学习和了解了中国古典园林的各种建筑形式，如亭、榭、厅、堂、轩、馆、楼、阁、廊、舫等，同时也观赏了如绘画、灰塑、木雕、砖雕、玻璃蚀刻、陶艺及文学、书法等多种艺术形式。

During the visit, the international students were captivated by the elegant, rustic, and delicate architectural features of Lingnan courtyards and Jiangnan-style gardens. They explored various classical Chinese garden architectures, including ting (pavilion), xie (overwater pavilion), ting (large room used for gathering or receiving guests), tang (hall or room for a specific purpose), xuan (long corridor or small building with windows), guan (guesthouse), lou (multistory tower), ge (a type of building similar to a tower, used for sightseeing, recreation, storing books, and religious purposes), lang (covered corridor), and fang (boat house). Additionally, they appreciated a variety of art forms, such as painting, lime sculpture, wood carving, brick carving, glass etching, pottery, as well as literary works and calligraphy.
