听,青年的声音 | 广美2025年毕业作品展第三场热忱漫卷

毕业季展览,是一次集体发声。今年的广美毕业展,共有来自不同专业背景的1585位本科生、431位研究生一起创意合奏。在学校“关注现实、服务社会”教学导向与“惟实励新”的优良学风的浸润下,依托“创新赋能”的教学体系,2025届毕业生们的作品呈现出回归生活现场,回应现实问题的总体倾向。

Degree Show is a collective showcase of voices from graduating students. This year’s GAFA Degree Show will be a creative symphony of 1,585 undergraduate and 431 postgraduate students from diverse academic backgrounds. Guided by GAFA’s teaching philosophy of engaging with reality and contributing to society and its ethos of rigorous practice and relentless innovation, the class of 2025 will present works characterized by a profound immersion in everyday life and a thoughtful response to real-world problems out of an innovation-powered educational framework.

第三期自6月18日开展,持续至6月27日,在广州美术学院大学城美术馆展出了跨媒体艺术学院、工艺美术学院、美术教育学院、工业设计学院(服装与服饰设计系、染织艺术设计系)、视觉艺术设计学院(动画)的本科生毕业创作;在广州美术学院美术馆(昌岗校区)、岭南画派纪念馆展出了建筑艺术设计学院、工艺美术学院、艺术与人文学院、研究生院、雕塑与公共艺术学院、跨媒体艺术学院的研究生毕业创作。

The third phase, which ran from June 18th to June 27th, featured undergraduate graduation works from the School of Transmedia, School of Arts and Crafts, School of Art Education, School of Innovation Design (Department of Fashion and Apparel Design, Department of Textile Art Design), and School of Visual Arts Design (Animation) at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts University Town Art Museum. Graduate graduation works from the School of Architecture & Applied Arts, School of Arts and Crafts, School of Art and Humanities, Graduate School, School of Sculpture and Public Art, and School of Transmedia were exhibited at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts Art Museum (Changgang Campus) and the Memorial Hall of Lingnan School of Painting.

美术教育学院近年来的办学理念依托于“美院底色新师范”的整体框架,致力于推动美术教育向社会美育的观念转变,本质上是对教学目标、对象、场域、主体和实践的全面深化与拓展。其核心在于:目标从侧重美术学科知识与技能传授,升华为以美育滋养心灵、提升全民审美素养与人文精神,最终服务于人的全面发展和构建美好和谐社会。对象由主要面向在校学生,扩展至覆盖全体社会成员,贯穿终身。场域突破学校课堂的局限,延伸至博物馆、美术馆、社区空间、城市景观、网络媒体乃至日常生活环境,实现美育生活化与全域渗透。实施主体从单一的专业教师,转变为政府、文化机构、学校、社会组织、企业、艺术家、媒体与公众共同参与的协同网络。实践内容与方法也超越纯美术技法,广泛融合各艺术门类与生活美学,更强调审美体验过程、情感浸润、跨学科融合,并灵活运用互动工作坊、公共艺术、数字媒介等多元形式激发参与和共鸣。这一根本性转变,标志着美育从“专业技能训练场”迈向“社会文明播种机”,要求以更广阔的视野、协同的方式和生活化的途径,将美的力量播撒至社会每个角落,滋养个体生命,塑造文明根基。

The School of Art Education's educational philosophy in recent years, based on the overall framework of "Academy-Based New Teacher Education," is committed to promoting the transformation of art education towards a social aesthetic education concept. Essentially, this involves a comprehensive deepening and expansion of teaching objectives, target audience, venues, subjects, and practices. Its core lies in: elevating the focus from imparting art subject knowledge and skills to nurturing the soul through aesthetic education, enhancing the aesthetic literacy and humanistic spirit of the entire population, and ultimately serving the all-round development of individuals and the construction of a beautiful and harmonious society. The target audience has expanded from primarily students to cover all members of society, extending throughout life. The venues have broken through the limitations of the classroom, extending to museums, art galleries, community spaces, urban landscapes, online media, and even daily life environments, achieving the integration of aesthetic education into daily life and its pervasive influence. The implementing body has shifted from a single professional teacher to a collaborative network involving the government, cultural institutions, schools, social organizations, enterprises, artists, media, and the public. The content and methods of practice have transcended pure art techniques, broadly integrating various art forms and the aesthetics of daily life. They place greater emphasis on the aesthetic experience, emotional immersion, and interdisciplinary integration, flexibly utilizing interactive workshops, public art, digital media, and other diverse forms to stimulate participation and resonance. This fundamental shift marks a transition of aesthetic education from a "professional skills training ground" to a "sowing ground for social civilization", requiring a broader vision, collaborative approaches, and everyday pathways to spread the power of beauty to every corner of society, nourishing individual lives and shaping the foundation of civilization.

"Resilience" is the keyword for the 2025 degree show of the School of Architecture and Applied Arts, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, conveying our thoughts on the future of architecture in an environment full of uncertainty: how to navigate design practice, grow amidst change, and move forward under challenges.

认知韧性:坚持中适应与变革

Cognitive resilience: Adapting to change while persevering

“韧性”首先意味着一种从逆境中回弹的能力,这不仅指面对既有困境而被动做出的即时反应,也指预测逆境、为未来的不确定性提前规划的主动洞察和方案预设。面对行业困境、知识转型与技术浪潮,我们以不断调适、持续承压、灵活生长的姿态,把逆境视作资源,探寻适应与革新的路径。

"Resilience" first and foremost means the ability to bounce back from adversity. This refers not only to the immediate, reactive response to existing difficulties, but also to the proactive insight and pre-planning for future uncertainties by anticipating adversity. Faced with industry challenges, knowledge transformation, and technological waves, we adopt an attitude of continuous adaptation, sustained resilience, and flexible growth, treating adversity as a resource and exploring paths for adaptation and innovation.

演进韧强调复杂系统在非均衡演化中的自我更新。如今,智能交互与未来场景不断迭代、地域文化和空间资源的不断重组,我们以设计行动验证社会结构的弹性、理性表达的多义性与思辨方法的通融性,在多时空交织的社会生态中探求空间语义的动态平衡。

Evolutionary resilience emphasizes the self-renewal of complex systems in non-equilibrium evolution. Today, with the continuous iteration of intelligent interaction and future scenarios, and the constant reorganization of regional cultures and spatial resources, we use design actions to verify the resilience of social structures, the ambiguity of rational expression, and the versatility of speculative methods, exploring the dynamic balance of spatial semantics in a multi-temporal and multi-spatial social ecology.

Building Resilience – We view design itself as a resilient, reconfigurable, and unbreakable system. Through artistic intervention, technological exploration, and cross-disciplinary collaboration, we break boundaries in experimentation and practice, build multi-dimensional teaching and research support, and cultivate future-oriented creativity.

韧性传递冷静而柔韧的力量:压而不碎,破而能生。本次毕业展包含7大板块、64份作品,涵盖了从乡村营造到空间叙事等多个领域。每一件作品,都是学生们在过去一段时间里深入研究、实验和思考的结果,展示了他们如何以“韧性”为核心,通过设计回应社会需求、文化传承和环境挑战。Resilience conveys a calm yet resilient strength: unyielding under pressure, capable of rebirth from destruction. This graduation exhibition comprises 7 sections and 64 works, covering multiple fields from rural construction to spatial narrative. Each piece is the result of students' in-depth research, experimentation, and reflection over a period of time, demonstrating how they use "resilience" as the core to respond to social needs, cultural heritage, and environmental challenges through design.

2025年,工艺美术学院毕业作品展的主题定为 “无可替代·交叠”。这既是宣言,也是沉思。“无可替代”,指向工艺核心中那份源于手、源于心、源于独特个体生命体验的绝对价值:是材料在指尖呼吸的温度,是时间在器物上沉淀的痕迹,是创作者不可复制的灵魂印记。“交叠”,则描绘了当下工艺最生动的图景:传统智慧与当代语汇的交叠,岭南文脉与全球视野的交叠,手工精神与数字基因的交叠,个体表达与公共关怀的交叠。

In 2025, the theme of the degree show of the School of Arts and Crafts is be "Irreplaceable and Overlapping". This is both a declaration and a reflection. "Irreplaceable" points to the absolute value of craftsmanship at its core, originating from the hand, the heart, and the unique individual life experience: it is the temperature of the material breathing at the fingertips, the traces of time deposited on the object, and the unique soul imprint of the creator. "Overlapping" depicts the most vivid picture of contemporary craftsmanship: the overlap of traditional wisdom and contemporary vocabulary, of Lingnan cultural heritage and global vision, of handcrafted spirit and digital genes, and of individual expression and public concern.

毕业生们深刻体悟着“无可替代”的真谛:他们珍视自然材料独特的肌理与灵性,视其为创作的起点而非工具;他们钻研传统技艺的精微,却不为所囿,将其视为创新的基石;他们将个人独特的生命感悟、城市记忆乃至社会观察,熔铸于作品之中,赋予其不可复制的精神内核。与此同时,“交叠”的智慧无处不在:古老的广彩焕发出先锋的视觉叙事;传统的陶瓷语言与当代空间装置产生奇妙的共鸣;髹涂的大漆肌理化身时尚的潮玩外壳;錾刻的金工与数字生成的形态相互渗透;对本土文化的深情回望与对未来可能性的勇敢探索并行不悖。这种对“无可替代”的执着坚守与对“交叠”可能性的开放拥抱,正是当代工艺生生不息的力量源泉。

The graduates deeply understand the true meaning of "irreplaceable": they cherish the unique texture and spirit of natural materials, regarding them as the starting point of creation rather than tools; they delve into the intricacies of traditional techniques, yet are not confined by them, seeing them as the cornerstone of innovation; they fuse their unique life experiences, urban memories, and even social observations into their works, endowing them with an unrepeatable spiritual core. At the same time, the wisdom of "overlapping" is omnipresent: ancient Canton porcelain radiates avant-garde visual narratives; traditional ceramic language resonates wonderfully with contemporary spatial installations; the texture of lacquer becomes a fashionable outer shell; the engraved metalwork and digitally generated forms permeate each other; a deep reflection on local culture and a courageous exploration of future possibilities go hand in hand. This unwavering commitment to "irreplaceable" and the open embrace of the possibilities of "overlapping" are precisely the inexhaustible source of power for contemporary craftsmanship.

今年学院共有美术学、艺术学理论、文物与博物馆3个专业、30名研究生参加毕业展。“美术学”专业、“艺术学理论”专业各有10名毕业生。20位同学的课题范围涉及中西美术史关键历史节点中的热点议题,从古代诗画互文关系到近现代的对外文化艺术交流;从战时艺术的组织机制到当代区域影像及行为的前沿实践,展现出了广博的知识视野和敏锐的洞察力。

This year, the School has 30 graduate students from three majors—Fine Arts, Art Theory, and Cultural Relics and Museums—participating in the degree show. The Fine Arts and Art Theory majors each have 10 graduates. The 20 students' research topics cover hot issues at key historical junctures in the history of Chinese and Western art, ranging from the intertextual relationship between ancient poetry and painting to modern international cultural and artistic exchanges; from the organizational mechanisms of wartime art to cutting-edge practices in contemporary regional imagery and performance art, demonstrating a broad knowledge base and keen insight.

“文物与博物馆”专业的10名毕业生则聚焦于博物馆实践与历史重构、文化遗存解读及新兴伦理挑战等多个维度。具体包括:区域历史与记忆的博物馆建构;基于实物材料的古代社会文化解读;以及涉及全球视野、收藏史与科技伦理的议题等。不少课题融入大量史料挖掘和本土实地考察,深入探讨了博物馆机构实践与地方文化呈现、历史叙事及公共教育之间的关系,其成果可为相关领域的博物馆工作提供直接的借鉴意义。

The ten graduates of the "Cultural Relics and Museums" major focused on multiple Size, including museum practice and historical reconstruction, interpretation of cultural heritage, and emerging ethical challenges. Specifically, their research included: museum construction based on regional history and memory; interpretation of ancient social culture based on material evidence; and issues involving a global perspective, the history of collecting, and the ethics of science and technology. Many projects incorporated extensive historical research and local fieldwork, exploring in depth the relationship between museum institutional practice and the presentation of local culture, historical narratives, and public education. Their findings can provide direct reference for museum work in related fields.

以理论研究为主体的艺术与人文学院研究生的毕业展,既不同于常规的艺术作品陈列,也力图区别于文图结合的知识性版式介绍。这次毕业展呈现主要以影像作为媒介,让毕业论文和研究课题成为学生们亲身“展演”的内容,成为自动翻阅的电子页面。

The degree show of graduate students from the School of Arts and Humanities, which focuses on theoretical research, differs from conventional art displays and also strives to distinguish itself from informational presentations that combine text and images. This degree show primarily uses video as a medium, allowing students to personally "perform" their graduation theses and research topics, transforming them into automatically scrolling electronic pages.

2025届雕塑与公共艺术学院研究生毕业展呈现了13位青年艺术家的22件/组作品。展览不仅展现了创作者在视觉语言与材料媒介上的深入探索,更凸显了其对历史、社会、文化的深刻思考。尤为值得注意的是,青年创作者们以对前沿科技的敏锐触觉,超越简单的工具性应用,实现了技术逻辑与艺术本体的深度融合。这种"艺术+科技"实践以思辨性视角拓展了雕塑与公共艺术表达的时空维度,体现出鲜明的学术自觉、强烈的社会责任与深厚的人文关怀。

The 2025 degree show of the School of Sculpture and Public Art presents 22 works/groups by 13 young artists. The exhibition not only showcases the artists' in-depth exploration of visual language and materials, but also highlights their profound reflections on history, society, and culture. Particularly noteworthy is the fact that these young artists, with their keen awareness of cutting-edge technology, have transcended simple instrumental applications, achieving a deep integration of technological logic and the essence of art. This "art + technology" practice expands the temporal and spatial size of sculpture and public art expression from a speculative perspective, demonstrating a clear academic awareness, a strong sense of social responsibility, and profound humanistic concern.

此次展览部分作品聚焦传统文化与人文历史的当代化表达,创作者超越了视觉层面的符号化挪用,转而挖掘文化基因的深层语义,通过多元跨界的当代表达范式对历史记忆与文化内涵进行创造性转化与重构;部分创作者以现实主义的视角关照当代社会议题,关注城市化进程中的边缘群体,将个体生命经验放置于群体结构的分析框架之中,以微观叙事体现深厚的人性关怀;还有一部分创作者对地域文化呈现出强烈的表达自觉,通过当代雕塑的跨媒介实践,不仅解码文化记忆的物质载体,更在社区营造与地方再造的维度上,实现了文化传承的当代转译。

Some works in this exhibition focus on the contemporary expression of traditional culture and human history. The creators have gone beyond the symbolic appropriation at the visual level and instead explored the deeper semantics of cultural genes. Through diverse and cross-disciplinary contemporary expression paradigms, they have creatively transformed and reconstructed historical memory and cultural connotations. Some creators have taken a realist perspective to examine contemporary social issues and pay attention to marginalized groups in the process of urbanization. They have placed individual life experiences within the analytical framework of group structure and used micro-narratives to reflect profound humanistic care. Other creators have shown a strong sense of expression towards regional culture. Through the cross-media practice of contemporary sculpture, they have not only decoded the material carriers of cultural memory, but also achieved a contemporary translation of cultural inheritance in the area of community building and local reconstruction.

2025年跨媒体艺术学院毕业展上十六位同学,用三年时间证明了一件事:学院教育不是往模子里浇铸铁水,而是给年轻的创作者装配思维工具箱。当他们在传统与当代的十字路口勘探时,工具箱里的凿子、量尺、棱镜,都能帮他们劈出属于自己的路径。诸位不妨细看这些作品:有些图像里沉着理论的锚,有些装置中藏着田野调查的经纬度,还有那些影像边角处,隐约闪着文献阅读的折光。这是研究生阶段最珍贵的馈赠:让创作成为有根基的远征。

The sixteen students at the 2025 degree show of the School of Transmedia proved one thing over three years: academic education is not about casting molten iron into a mold, but about equipping young creators with a toolbox of thinking. When they explore the crossroads of tradition and contemporary art, the chisels, rulers, and prisms in their toolbox help them carve out their own paths. Take a closer look at these works: some images hold anchors of theory, some installations conceal the latitude and longitude of field research, and in the corners of the videos, the refraction of documentary reading subtly shimmers. This is the most precious gift of graduate studies: making creation a grounded expedition.
