为进一步加强中外合作,促进交流,丰富广州美术学院具象雕塑教学的理念、形式与内容,自2018年以来雕塑与公共艺术学院开展了“俄罗斯雕塑家进课堂”教学学术研究系列活动。2024年9月19日至9月29日,在学校国际合作与交流处的大力支持下,雕塑与公共艺术学院邀请圣彼得堡列宾美术学院雕塑系教师布罗达尔斯基·弗拉基米尔·伊万诺维奇举办为期11天的《等大人体》工作坊教学,并围绕具象雕塑教学与创作,开展一系列的学术交流活动。
In order to further develop Sino-foreign cooperation, promote exchanges, and enrich the concepts, forms and contents of figurative sculpture teaching in GAFA, School of Sculpture and Public Art (SSPA) has carried out a series of teaching and academic research activities of "Russian Sculptors in Classroom" since 2018. From September 19 to September 29, 2024, with the strong support of the Foreign Affairs Office, SSPA invited Brodarskii Vladimir, a teacher of the Sculpture Department of Repin St. Petersburg State Academy Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, to hold an 11-day "Equal-sized Human Body" workshop, and carried out a series of academic exchange activities concerning the teaching and creation of figurative sculpture.
在此次教学工作坊中,弗拉基米尔老师深入课堂,与2021级具象雕塑工作室《等大人体泥塑》任课教师一起参与了第三、四周的教学工作。弗拉基米尔着重为同学们讲解了俄罗斯学院派雕塑基础造型训练中的教学侧重点,对比中俄具象雕塑创作理念与方法的异同,结合雕塑与公共艺术学院的教学实际与学生情况,重点加强观察力、理解力与表达力的训练。
In this teaching workshop, Professor Vladimir went deep into the classroom and participated in the third and fourth weeks of teaching together with the teachers of the 2021 figurative sculpture studio "Equal-sized Human Clay Sculpture". Vladimir focused on explaining to the students the teaching focus of the basic modeling training of Russian academic sculpture, comparing the similarities and differences between the creative concepts and methods of figurative sculpture in China and Russia, and combining the teaching practice of SSPA with the situation of students, focusing on strengthening the training of observation, comprehension and expression.
弗拉基米尔老师不断强调,在人体泥塑创作中掌握正确的观察方法与扎实的解刨知识的重要性,他通过观察发现了同学们在重心、动态、比例关系等问题中易犯的错误,直中要害地指出错误背后的核心问题,引导学生以雕塑空间的视角,对造型进行观察、分析和归纳,强调要将所学的知识灵活地运用到泥塑创作与雕塑实践中。
Professor Vladimir constantly emphasized the importance of mastering correct observation methods and solid anatomical knowledge in the creation of human clay sculptures. Through observation, he discovered the mistakes that students often make in issues such as center of gravity, dynamics, and proportional relationships. He pointed out the core issues behind the mistakes and guided students to observe, analyze and summarize the shapes from the perspective of sculpture space. He emphasized the need to flexibly apply the knowledge learned to clay sculpture creation and sculpture practice.
同时,为解决语言不通的问题,雕塑与公共艺术学院邀请莫斯科国立苏里科夫美术学院博士研究生柳洁修老师担任翻译,为本次教学工作坊营造了无障碍沟通的教学环境。
At the same time, in order to solve the language barrier problem, SSPA invited Liu Jiexiu, a doctoral student at the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I Surikov, to serve as a translator, creating a barrier-free communication teaching environment for the workshop.
为让学生直观深入地了解如何掌握正确的观察方法与造型方法以及基本写生能力,弗拉基尼尔老师为低年级学生现场示范头像写生,耗时3个小时,一边做一边讲,引导学生如何观察、分析和思考,通过正确的方式进行准确的表达。
In order to let students intuitively and deeply understand how to master the correct observation methods, modeling methods and basic sketching skills, Professor Vladimir demonstrated portrait sketching for lower grade students on the spot. It took three hours, and he explained while doing it, guiding students on how to observe, analyze and think, and express accurately in the right way.
弗拉基尼尔老师着重强调泥塑写生的“第一感受”,即重视对对象总体形与空间变化的敏锐感知,以及对于模特形象特征的快速捕捉与表现,向同学们直观地传授短期泥塑写生节奏把握与风格表现的要点,很好地诠释了泥塑写生与创作之间的紧密关联性。
Professor Vladimir emphasized the "first feeling" of clay sketching, that is, paying attention to the keen perception of the overall shape and spatial changes of the object, and the rapid capture and expression of the model's image characteristics. He intuitively taught the students the key points of rhythm control and style expression in short-term clay sketching, and well explained the close relationship between clay sketching and creation.
9月23日晚,本次教学工作坊系列活动之“中俄具象雕塑教学与创作对谈”在大学城校区J101举办。雕塑理论教研室主任韩小囡,具象雕塑工作室主任王海同,基础教研室主任郑敏以及范智瑜、蔡小飘等师生参加了对谈活动。活动由韩小囡主持。广东外语外贸大学西语学院俄语系教师陈群担任本次活动翻译。
On the evening of September 23, the "China-Russia Figurative Sculpture Teaching and Creation Dialogue" of this teaching workshop series was held in classroom J101 of the University Town Campus. 韩小囡老师简述了广州美术学院雕塑与公共艺术学院具象雕塑教学与创作的肇始及70余年的发展历程,阐述了在建系初期苏派雕塑对我校具象雕塑教学的重要影响,以及后来因“形意识”“材料意识”“观念意识”的介入,广美具象雕塑教学与创作呈现出多元发展的特点。
Han Xiaonan briefly described the origin of the teaching and creation of figurative sculpture at the School of Sculpture and Public Art of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and its development process over the past 70 years. She elaborated on the important influence of Su-style sculpture on the teaching of figurative sculpture in GAFA in the early days of the department, and how the teaching and creation of figurative sculpture at GAFA showed the characteristics of diversified development due to the intervention of "form consciousness", "material consciousness" and "concept consciousness".

During the conversation, Vladimir and SSPA teachers took the Repin St. Petersburg State Academy Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture and Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts as examples to analyze the differences and similarities between the teaching and creation of figurative sculpture in China and Russia in terms of teaching system, creative concepts, curriculum setting, and teaching methods, as well as the inspiration for optimizing the teaching system and discipline construction of figurative sculpture in SSPA.

Professor Vladimir attended the opening ceremony and related activities of the "Gazing and Looking Far Away - Double Solo Exhibition of Cai Xiaopiao and Zhang Yuyang" held by SSPA. He used the exhibition as a starting point to conduct in-depth exchanges on sculpture creation with the exhibition curator, participating authors, and teachers and students of SSPA.

During the 11-day workshop, Professor Vladimir spent every day with teachers from the figurative sculpture studio, exchanging ideas and sharing experiences on figurative sculpture teaching and creation. Professor Vladimir also visited the studios of three SSPA teachers, Zhuo Guosen, Wang Hao, and Wu Qingfeng, to exchange ideas and learn from each other and enhance mutual understanding.

In this workshop, with a rigorous and serious teaching and research attitude, Professor Vladimir combined the actual teaching of figurative sculpture in SSPA to carry out targeted teaching and training, and imparted the profound theory and valuable practical experience of Russian figurative sculpture teaching and creation to students. The in-depth exchanges between our teachers and students and Professor Vladimir triggered everyone's thinking on the similarities and differences between Chinese and Russian figurative sculpture teaching and creation, and expanded their artistic perspectives. These exchanges and collisions also provided external motivation and new perspectives for SSPA to further carry out teaching reforms and discipline construction such as teaching system optimization, professional course construction, and teaching and research model innovation.
