2026年3月24日下午，英国伦敦艺术大学一行到我校交流访问。我校党委常委、副院长蔡拥华，国际交流合作部部长、湾区创新学院院长伍端，国际交流合作部副部长万千个等参加接待。
On the afternoon of March 24, 2026, a delegation from the University of the Arts London (UAL) visited the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts (GAFA). They were received by GAFA Vice President Cai Yonghua; Wu Duan, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office and Dean of the Innovation School of the Greater Bay Area; and Wan Qiange, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office.
蔡拥华对伦敦艺术大学此次来访表示热烈欢迎。会上，蔡拥华简要介绍了学校发展脉络及未来规划。他表示，广州美术学院作为中国重点美术高校，是华南地区唯一一所独立建制的高等美术学府，不仅在中国近代美术史上具有重要地位，也在粤港澳大湾区美术和设计教育领域发挥龙头引领作用。他指出，广州美术学院扎根岭南毗邻港澳，是中国较早开设设计学科的高等美术院校，现已构建从中学到大学再到继续教育的全链条美术教育体系，实现从专业教育到终身学习的完整闭环，通过推动艺术设计人才系统化培养，持续承担好服务社会美育的责任。
Vice President Cai Yonghua extended a warm welcome to the delegation from the University of the Arts London. He briefed the guests on the development trajectory and future plans of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts (GAFA). He stated that as a key fine arts institution in China and the only independent, standalone institution of higher education dedicated to fine arts in South China, GAFA not only holds an important place in modern Chinese art history but also plays a leading role in art and design education within the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area. He pointed out that, rooted in the Lingnan region and located in close proximity to Hong Kong and Macao, GAFA was one of China’ s earliest fine arts academies to establish design programs. The Academy has now built a full-chain art education system covering secondary, tertiary, and continuing education, achieving a complete cycle from professional training to lifelong learning. Through the systematic cultivation of art and design talents, GAFA continues to fulfill its responsibility of promoting aesthetic education in society.
蔡拥华强调，当前人工智能浪潮迭起，全球教育体系都在积极适应新一轮科技革命和产业变革。面对变革，广州美术学院积极对接国家战略、服务大湾区产业升级，目前已经成立湾区创新学院，现已开始招收智能交互、艺术与科技等六大专业，努力以艺术和设计教育的创新性、实验性和前瞻性积极回应时代浪潮。当下世界高校之间的国际交流非常密切，希望与伦敦艺术大学加强国际交流，以更开放深入的学术合作，共同推动高等艺术教育迈向新台阶。
Cai Yonghua underscored that as artificial intelligence rises, global education systems are actively adapting to the new technological revolution and industrial transformation. In response, GAFA aligns with national strategies and serves the industrial upgrading of the Greater Bay Area. It has established the Innovation School of the Greater Bay Area, which is now enrolling students in six forward-looking majors, including Intelligent Interaction Design and Art and Technology. GAFA strives to proactively respond to the trends of the times through the innovative, experimental, and forward-looking nature of its art and design education. He expressed hope to strengthen international exchanges with UAL through more open and in-depth academic cooperation, jointly advancing higher art education to a new level.
伦敦艺术大学国际关系、招生及市场拓展部副部长莎拉·莱布雷希特（Sarah Lebrecht）女士对我校热情接待表示感谢。她高度肯定了广州美术学院在拥抱AI时代变革方面做出的积极努力，同时介绍了伦敦艺术大学在迎接人工智能浪潮方面做出的尝试。为加强对技术变革的前瞻响应，伦敦艺术大学成立创意计算学院（CCI），致力于在艺术、设计、计算机科学交叉领域进行教学与科研，开设数据科学与人工智能、创意计算、应用机器学习（创意产业方向）等课程，着力培养创意科技人才。同时伦敦艺术大学注重将行业实践嵌入教学基因，利用伦敦创意产业优势，实施高规格的行业联动，积极引入品牌方参与课程共建及相关前沿研究。这与广州美术学院立足湾区优势，加强技术前瞻重塑教学生态，拓展创业平台强化实践应用的努力不谋而合，希望可以通过未来合作，推动两校高等艺术教育实现更高水平。
Ms. Sarah Lebrecht, Deputy Head of International Student Recruitment, Student Marketing, Recruitment and Admissions at UAL, expressed gratitude for the warm reception. She commended GAFA's proactive efforts in embracing the changes brought by the AI era and introduced UAL's own initiatives in response. To better address technological transformation, UAL founded the Creative Computing Institute (CCI), dedicated to teaching and research at the intersection of art, design, and computer science, offering programs such as Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, and focusing on cultivating creative technology talents. Furthermore, UAL emphasizes embedding industry practice into its educational ethos, leveraging London's strengths in the creative industries to foster high-level collaborations and involve brand partners in curriculum co-development and frontier research. She noted that this approach resonates with GAFA's efforts to leverage the advantages of the Greater Bay Area, strengthen technological foresight, and enhance practical application. She expressed hope that future cooperation would promote higher-level development in art education at both institutions.
会上，双方就开展高校学术互访、人才联合培养及具体形式等国际合作议题进行深入探讨。会后，伦敦艺术大学一行实地参观了学校美术馆、校史馆等，深入了解了学校的历史沿革、办学情况和学科发展。
Both sides held in-depth discussions on international cooperation, including academic exchanges, joint talent cultivation, and specific implementation pathways. Following the meeting, the UAL delegation visited the GAFA Art Museum and History Museum, gaining a deeper understanding of the university's history, educational developments, and disciplinary progress.
