2026年3月9日，广州美术学院院长范勃教授正式受聘为俄罗斯圣彼得堡列宾美术学院荣誉教授，聘任仪式在俄罗斯联邦驻广州总领事馆举行。现场，列宾美术学院院长西蒙·米哈伊洛夫斯基为范勃院长颁发荣誉教授证书并互赠礼物。俄罗斯驻穗总领事捷普洛夫·尤里、总领事秘书谢尔盖·舍金，列宾美术学院副院长安德烈·斯克利亚连科、油画系主任伊利亚·佐尔金、油画系典藏部负责人玛丽娜·戈洛夫涅娃，广州美术学院国际交流合作部部长伍端、副部长万千个，新闻中心副主任江粤军，美术馆副馆长洪荣满等出席了聘任仪式。
On March 9th, 2026, Professor Fan Bo, President of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts (GAFA), was officially appointed as an Honorary Professor of St. Petersburg Academy of Fine Arts (Repin), Russia. The appointment ceremony was held at the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Guangzhou. During the ceremony, Mr. Semyon Mikhailovsky, Rector of Repin, presented Professor Fan Bo with the honorary professorship certificate, and they exchanged gifts. Also present at the ceremony were Mr. Teplov Yury, Russian Consul General in Guangzhou; Mr. Sergey Shchetkin, Secretary to the Consul General; Mr. Andrey Sklyarenko, Vice Rector of Repin; Mr. Ilya Zorkin, Dean of the Oil Painting Department; Ms. Marina Golovneva, Head of the Collections Department of the Painting Department; Mr. Wu Duan, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of GAFA; Mr. Wan Qiang, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of GAFA; Ms. Jiang Yuejun, Deputy Director of the News Center; and Mr. Hong Rongman, Deputy Director of the Art Museum.
西蒙表示，聘任范勃院长为列宾美术学院荣誉教授，是经过全校上下认真慎重研究决定的，范勃院长的专业水平、学术成就得到了列宾美术学院全体教师的充分认可和高度评价。2024年列宾美术学院承办了在俄罗斯国家中心举行的“为未来的遗产展”，范勃院长给予了大力支持，送来了广美近年来最优秀的毕业作品参展，展览取得了极大成功，产生了良好的社会反响；本次在广州美术学院大学城美术馆举办的“列宾美术学院师生作品展”，更是得到了广美各方面的全力支持。相信范勃院长受聘为列宾美术学院荣誉教授，将进一步巩固两校之间的友谊，推进两校之间的交流合作。
Mr. Semyon Mikhailovsky stated that the appointment of President Fan Bo as an honorary professor at Repin was a decision made after careful consideration by the entire academy. Professor Fan Bo's professional expertise and academic achievements have been fully recognized and highly praised by all faculty members of Repin. In 2024, Repin hosted the "Legacy for the Future" exhibition at the Russian National Center. President Fan Bo provided strong support, submitting some of the best graduation works from GAFA for the exhibition. The exhibition achieved great success and generated a positive social response. Furthermore, the "Exhibition of Works by Faculty and Students of the Saint Petersburg Academy of Arts Named After Ilya Repin," currently held at the GAFA University Town Art Museum, has received full support from all aspects of GAFA. It is believed that President Fan Bo's appointment as an Honorary Professor of Repin will further consolidate the friendship between the two institutions and promote exchanges and cooperation between them.

Fan Bo extended his most sincere and heartfelt gratitude for the trust and favor shown bt Repin. He noted that for over 260 years, the breeze along the Neva River has witnessed Repin's ultimate pursuit of beauty. In his eyes, Repin is not only a prestigious higher education institution for fine arts but also a monumental epic of realist art. He has always held deep respect for its rich and enduring artistic tradition. This year marks the “China-Russia Year of Education.” His appointment is not only the result of the deepening exchange and enduring friendship between the two academies, but also a new beginning. He looks forward to working alongside colleagues to promote international dialogue in higher art education and to contribute, in whatever small way he can, to the growth of young artists from both countries. He also wishes that the spirit of Repin, like the waters of the Neva, will flow far and wide, surging endlessly. “Let us continue to cultivate and create together—for art, for beauty, and for the enrichment of the human spirit.”
