9月8日至9月15日，应加拿大温哥华电影学院、美国芝加哥大学东亚艺术中心、美国纽约电影学院、美国新泽西州立罗格斯大学邀请，我校蔡拥华副院长率团赴加拿大美国交流访问。学校国际合作与交流处处长伍端、教务处处长涂渊、招生考试中心主任岑君豪、美术馆副馆长洪荣满等随团出访。
    From September 8 to 15,  Vice President Cai Yonghua led a delegation to Canada and the United States for exchange visits at the invitation of Vancouver Film School, University of Chicago’s Center for the Art of East Asia, New York Film Academy, and Rutgers University. Members of the delegation included Wu Duan, Director of Foreign Affairs Office, Tu Yuan, Director of Academic Affairs Office, Cen Junhao, Director of Admissions and Examinations Center, and Hong Rongman, Deputy Director of Art Museum.

9月9日，蔡拥华一行前往温哥华电影学院。温哥华电影学院院长乔纳森•贝尔（Jonathan Bell）、国际事务发展部主任斯科特·P·施泰格（Scott P. Steiger）等热情接待并展开交流。双方回顾了两校在教学工作坊、课程合作等方面的往来，并就推动青年师生互访、人才联合培养等方面达成合作意向。学校访问团还调研了该校巨型绿幕摄影棚、动画捕捉、道具制作等专业工作室，并与相关负责人进行交流。
    On September 9, the delegation visited Vancouver Film School, and was warmly welcomed by its school President Jonathan Bell, Director of International Admissions & Business Development Scott P. Steiger and others. Both sides reviewed their past collaborations in teaching workshops, courses, etc., and reached a cooperation intention on promoting mutual visits by young teachers and students, joint talent training and more. The delegation also inspected the school’s professional studios, including giant green screen studio, animation capture studio, and prop-making studio, and exchanged views with relevant personnel in charge.

9月10日，蔡拥华一行前往芝加哥大学东亚艺术中心。该中心主任林伟正教授、副主任赖青琳（Ellen Larson）等参与接待。林伟正教授介绍了该中心“响堂山”“天龙山”等中国海外流散文物的三维重建和数字化复原项目。蔡拥华介绍了广州美术学院文物保护及修复专业及“艺科融合”人才培养新模式。双方表示将更加重视科技创新在艺术人文领域的溢出效应，将通过未来的师生交流，不断推动双方在国际艺术合作和创新创意人才培养方面“向新而行”。
    On September 10, the delegation visited University of Chicago’s Center for the Art of East Asia, and was received by its Director Professor Wei-Cheng Lin, Associate Director Ellen Larson and others. Professor Lin introduced the center’s 3D reconstruction and digital restoration project for overseas Chinese artworks such as “Xiangtangshan” and “Tianlongshan”. Cai Yonghua introduced GAFA’s conservation and restoration program and its new talent training model that integrates art and science. Both sides expressed their commitment to attaching greater significance to the spillover effects of technological innovation in arts and humanities and to continuously promoting international art cooperation and innovative talent training through future teacher-student exchanges.

9月12日，蔡拥华一行前往纽约电影学院。纽约电影学院纽约校区校长大卫·克莱恩（David Klein）、执行副院长朱宇华参与接待及座谈。座谈中朱宇华介绍了纽约电影学院的最新发展和参与拍摄的中美合拍片《桃李无言》。蔡拥华以广美人创作的国漫大电影《落凡尘》为例，介绍了广美在解码美术新质生产力方面的高质量发展。在回顾两校合作历程同时，双方就面向未来持续增强人才联合培养达成共识，并就硕士联合培养及学生短期访学等项目达成了合作意向。

On September 12, the delegation visited New York Film Academy, and was received by its chancellor of branch campus in New York David Klein and Executive Vice President Zhu Yuhua. During the meeting, Zhu introduced the latest developments of New York Film Academy and Sino-American co-produced film “My Teacher and Me” it participated in. Cai Yonghua introduced the high-quality development of GAFA in new quality artistic productive forces with the example of animated film “Into the Mortal World” created by GAFA students. In addition to reviewing the history of their cooperation, the two sides reached a consensus on continuously enhancing joint talent training in the future and expressed their intention to cooperate on joint master’s programs and short-term student visits.

9月13日，蔡拥华一行前往新泽西州立罗格斯大学开展访问。罗格斯大学副校长张志英（Ji-Yeung Jang）、罗格斯大学国际交流处葛尧、罗格斯大学科技与艺术学院研究生部主任芭芭拉·麦德森（Barbara Madsen）和罗格斯大学科技与艺术学院谭力勤教授对我校访问团进行了热情接待。双方就教师互访、学生互派和教学工作坊等合作内容深入交换意见。随后，我校访问团参观了该校有关工作室、展览厅等。

On September 13, the delegation visited Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. They were warmly received by its Vice President for Global Affairs Ji-Yeung Jang, Ge Yao from its International Division, Graduate Director of Art & Design at its Mason Gross School of the Arts Barbara Madsen, and Professor Tan Liqin from its Mason Gross School of the Arts. Both sides exchanged in-depth views on teacher-student exchanges, student exchanges, teaching workshops and more. Subsequently, the delegation visited the university’s studios and exhibition halls.

此次出访进一步拓展了学校教科研国际合作平台建设，对学校面向新兴领域、面向未来产业、面向高质量发展，探索培养国际化创新型高层次艺术人才产生重要影响。

This journey has further expanded GAFA’s international cooperation on teaching and research, and exerts a significant impact on its explorations for nurturing internationalized and innovative high-level artistic talents for emerging fields, future industries, and high-quality development.
