From June 5 to 12, the second phase of the 2024 undergraduate and graduate graduation works exhibition of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts was exhibited at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts University Town Art Museum and Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts Art Museum (Changgang Campus). 作品说明:“从海岛到内陆——4627米”指的是作者每次离开家乡海陵岛要经过4627米海陵大堤,这是通往她求学的路,也是海岛与内陆的必要连接线。作者想让更多人了解海陵大堤的历史及其变化给人带来的情绪感受,在创作过程中运用了影像、摄影、绘画、拓印等多种媒介进行融合,通过不断推演、层层递进,推动图像生产整合意识。作者以自己当下的生活场所和情感记忆进行创作,用艺术创作来回应来自家乡的场地记忆与情感编织。

Introduction: "From the island to the inland - 4627 meters" refers to the 4627-meter Hailing Dam that the author has to pass every time she leaves her hometown Hailing Island. This is the way to her school and the necessary connection between the island and the inland. The author wants more people to understand the history of the Hailing Dam and the emotional feelings it brings to people. In the creative process, she used a variety of media such as images, photography, painting, and rubbings to integrate them. Through continuous deduction and progressive progress, she promoted the awareness of image production integration. The author creates based on her current living place and emotional memory, and uses artistic creation to respond to the site memory and emotional weaving from her hometown.

作品聚焦于一个生日派对结束后的室内场景,人们即将回到自己的生活中,更加关注自己的内心需求和感受,追求更加真实和有意义的生活方式。通过具体的场景描绘,试图展现过去及现在人们因各种原因而渐行渐远的现象,以及这种现象如何导致社交网络的缩小和人际关系的弱化。作品希望能够引发观众以积极、理性的心态和行动应对社交关系的疏离,更好地处理人际关系的变化,建立更健康、持久的人际关系。

Introduction: Social degradation refers to the phenomenon that individuals or groups actively choose to reduce the frequency of social activities, simplify social relationships, or selectively interact with others in social activities. The characteristics of social degradation in people's social lives are becoming increasingly prominent. This work attempts to capture and analyze the process of this change and how it affects the individual's social experience and emotional world.

The work focuses on an indoor scene after a birthday party, when people are about to return to their own lives, pay more attention to their inner needs and feelings, and pursue a more real and meaningful lifestyle. Through the depiction of specific scenes, it attempts to show the phenomenon of people drifting apart for various reasons in the past and present, and how this phenomenon leads to the shrinking of social networks and the weakening of interpersonal relationships. The work hopes to inspire the audience to respond to the alienation of social relationships with a positive and rational attitude and action, better deal with changes in interpersonal relationships, and establish healthier and more lasting interpersonal relationships.

作品说明:作品基于生态中心论为研究基础,在动物的角度探索人类与非人类动物的平等与共生关系。分别由绘本故事《妈妈好爱鸭》及纤维装置《永恒的瞬间》组成整体呈现。绘本内容以鸭子的视角描绘被人类领养且摆脱被食用的宿命展开,记录了鸭子和人类的相处日常。装置场景基于绘本故事中更浓缩的情感与瞬间,四个装置主题分别为“希望”“小满” “陪伴”与“疗愈”,寄托了作者对宠物的感情以及对生命的信念,同时四个场景分别采用了春夏秋冬对应的色彩,代表生命与自然。作品通过绘本讲故事,再以纤维为媒介,以装置为载体,呈现人与动物的美好相处瞬间,带出人与自然共享、共融、共生的状态,引发观众的共鸣。

Introduction: The work is based on ecocentrism and explores the equality and symbiotic relationship between humans and non-human animals from the perspective of animals. It is presented as a whole by the picture book story "Mom Loves Ducks" and the fiber installation "Eternal Moments". The picture book content describes the ducks being adopted by humans and escaping the fate of being eaten from the perspective of ducks, and records the daily life of ducks and humans. The installation scenes are based on the more concentrated emotions and moments in the picture book stories . The four installation themes are "Hope", "Xiaoman", "Companionship" and "Healing", which express the author's feelings for pets and his belief in life. At the same time, the four scenes use the corresponding colors of spring, summer, autumn and winter, representing life and nature. The work tells stories through picture books, and then uses fibers as a medium and installations as a carrier to present the beautiful moments of human and animal coexistence, bringing out the state of sharing, integration and symbiosis between humans and nature, which resonates with the audience.

作品说明:作者走到开阔的自然环境中,到海岛倾听海浪拍打礁石,抚摸窸窣的沙地,感受咸湿的空气,跟随自然的指引和身体的直觉,在自然空间中制造各种痕迹。

作者在身体展演的过程中,意识高度集中,她把自己当作一面镜子,试图与自然融为一体。这其中伴随着偶发,尽管作者有意识地控制身体,保持形态,但总是无法避免各种不确定的因素,需要不断调整身体以及精神状态,通过身体与自然的对抗拉扯回应生活。

Introduction: The author walked into the open natural environment, went to the island to listen to the waves hitting the rocks, touched the rustling sand, felt the salty and humid air, followed the guidance of nature and the intuition of the body, and created various traces in the natural space.

During the performance, the author is highly focused, and she regards herself as a mirror, trying to blend into nature. This is accompanied by accidents. Although the author consciously controls her body and maintains her shape, she cannot avoid various uncertain factors. 作品说明:故事讲述的是一对年轻情侣开了一家婚纱摄影写真铺,生意并不景气,于是他们决定开设婚纱照粉碎业务。这项业务让他们看见了很多不同的破碎爱情故事。这个网红业务让他们的收入渐渐稳定,男主向女主求婚,女主拒绝了。她对婚姻本就悲观,加上见过太多狼狈离婚的客户,更加想要逃避婚姻。直到她看见了一张照片,里面的情侣并不被世人认可,但他们互相深爱,即使天人永隔。她意识到珍惜当下的幸福才是最重要的,不能因为对未知的恐惧而放弃追逐幸福的权利和这个深爱她的人。最后,他们决定拍一组婚纱照。

片名“我*你”中间的符号可以是任何字,它可能是“我恨你”,也可以是“我爱你”,也可以只是“我和你”。“我”与“你”之间是什么关系,这只是我们个人的选择,与外界的一切规则无关,只是有关于我和你而已。

Introduction: The story tells about a young couple who opened a wedding photography and photo studio. The business was not good, so they decided to start a wedding photo shredding business. This business allowed them to see many different broken love stories. This online celebrity business gradually stabilized their income. The male protagonist proposed to the female protagonist, but she refused. She was pessimistic about marriage, and she wanted to escape marriage even more after seeing too many clients who divorced in a mess. Until she saw a photo, the couple in the photo was not recognized by the world, but they loved each other deeply, even if they were separated forever. She realized that cherishing the happiness of the moment is the most important thing, and she should not give up the right to pursue happiness and the person who loves her deeply because of the fear of the unknown. In the end, they decided to take a set of wedding photos.

The symbol in the title "I*You" can be any word, it can be "I hate you", "I love you", or just "I and you". What is the relationship between "I" and "you" is just our personal choice, and has nothing to do with any rules of the outside world. It is just about me and you.

作品介绍:花溪苗族为苗族支系之一,一直保持着独特的服饰风格,在城市化的进程中人们的思想观被改变,少数民族传统服饰及其文化受到巨大的冲击,生活方式的改变也对服饰、技艺、纹样传承造成影响。通过深入研究分析花溪苗族服饰和挑花纹样了解该民族的人文和美学内涵,发掘和弘扬花溪苗族服饰中蕴含的文化内涵,提取花溪最具特色的贯首服元素、背牌绑带、挑花纹样元素以及用色,以此将花溪苗族传统服饰元素与现代服饰相融合,创新应用到现代设计中。

Introduction: Huaxi Miao is one of the branches of Miao, and has always maintained a unique clothing style. In the process of urbanization, people's ideas have changed, and the traditional clothing and culture of ethnic minorities have been greatly impacted. The change in lifestyle has also affected the inheritance of clothing, skills, and patterns. Through in-depth research and analysis of Huaxi Miao clothing and embroidery patterns, we understand the humanistic and aesthetic connotations of this ethnic group, explore and promote the cultural connotations contained in Huaxi Miao clothing, extract Huaxi's most distinctive headwear elements, back straps , embroidery pattern elements and colors, so as to integrate the traditional clothing elements of Huaxi Miao with modern clothing and apply them innovatively to modern design.

征和声音交互结合,制作了一套由观众声音影响的互动效果,由其声音频率多少影响声音模型的数量。创作者希望拉近作品与观众之间的距离,拉近观众和声音的距离,更好地感受染织的温度,增加了触摸交互,当手触摸的时候周围所有模型都会聚集在手的位置,与上一个留下声音的观众进行一次跨越时间和空间的交流。

Introduction: UNIHORSE is an original 2D animation short film produced by two people. It tells the story of a pony living on the grassland. It has a dream of becoming a star. By chance, it becomes the most popular carousel in the amusement park and quickly becomes popular on social media. However, an accidental incident of a naughty child hitting a car with a porcelain, suddenly makes the pony suffer from the attack of online public opinion. Unable to bear the harassment, the pony ran back to the grassland where he originally lived and continued to live a peaceful life. 作品说明:系列作品以自然之美视作母体与灵感来源,从形式和内容上探索了自我与自然、陶艺作品与艺术疗愈之间的关系。作者觉得很幸运从小生活在一座名为仙湖植物园的周边,仙湖植物园像一座天然的“避难所 ”。作者将大自然无形的隐喻意象赋予有形的外在形态即陶瓷作品上,通过作品抽象的隐喻表现无法用言语表达的情感,并且在制作过程中通过作品构思、制作等过程对植物园对本我的疗愈进行回拨,试图让个体和观赏者共同参与话题讨论。

Introduction: The series of works regards the beauty of nature as the mother and source of inspiration, and explores the relationship between self and nature, ceramic works and art therapy in terms of form and content. The author feels very lucky to have lived near a place called Xianhu Botanical Garden since childhood. Xianhu Botanical Garden is like a natural "refuge". The author gives the invisible metaphorical image of nature a tangible external form, namely ceramic works, and expresses emotions that cannot be expressed in words through abstract metaphors in the works. In the process of production, the author calls back to the healing of the botanical garden to the self through the process of work conception and production, trying to let individuals and viewers participate in the topic discussion together.

Introduction: "The Mystery of the Maritime Silk Road" is a museum experiential game study course for young people. Based on the basic exhibitions of the Guangzhou Maritime Museum, it combines playfulness and education to provide an entertaining way of learning about museum exhibitions. Title: "79 Days of Being a Shatou Villager"

作品说明:四位同学组建起艺术小组在佛山市顺德区均安镇沙头社区进行了为期79天的驻地创作。作者们在“观察者”和“参与者”双重身份间不断切换,尝试以“我们”为主语,在展览中通过物件、文字、影像呈现驻地期间对日常亲历事件的过程性记录,以外来者视角建立一种理解地方的方式,讲述社区作为一个微观社会的丰富性。在项目的开展中,作者们尝试在陌生地方重建基于自身的社会关系网络,以沙头社区演艺性娱乐方式的历史变迁作为线索,围绕关系网络开展口述史收集、个案研究工作,对个体叙事修辞、集体对于事件发生的记忆,以及“爱好共同体”作为一种非虚构共同体的生成形式进行观察与反思。在关系建立的过程中,作者们将零散的对话所得串联成一组信息链条,探索改革开放后的新型娱乐方式在沙头爱好共同体的介入下如何完成本土改造,并在乡村中与维系熟人社会运转体系的价值观念、文化惯性结合在一起。
Introduction: Four students formed an art group and conducted a 79-day residency creation in Shatou Community, Jun'an Town, Shunde District, Foshan City. The authors constantly switched between the dual identities of "observer" and "participant", trying to use "we" as the subject, and presenting the process records of daily events during the residency through objects, texts, and images in the exhibition, establishing a way to understand the place from the perspective of outsiders, and telling the richness of the community as a micro-society. In the implementation of the project, the authors tried to rebuild their own social relationship network in an unfamiliar place, using the historical changes in the performing arts entertainment methods of the Shatou community as a clue, and carried out oral history collection and case study work around the relationship network, observing and reflecting on individual narrative rhetoric, collective memory of events, and the generation form of "hobby community" as a non-fictional community. In the process of relationship building, the authors linked the scattered conversations into a set of information chains, exploring how the new entertainment methods after the reform and opening up completed local transformation with the intervention of the Shatou hobby community, and how they were combined with the values and cultural inertia that maintain the operation system of the acquaintance society in the countryside.

岭南画派先贤倡导“折衷中西,融汇古今”的画学精神,以及关注生活、直面社会的画学实践,在近代中国画创作转型中作出了大胆的探索,对当下中国画专业如何应对大变局时势而言是可贵的镜鉴。治学要先因而后创,坚持守正创新。“创新”必须建立在“守正”的基础上,以更长的时间轴去实践“守正创新”的内涵。“新”必须是符合艺术发展的规律,而非个人创作手段上刻意强加的时尚烙印。

“问渠那得清如许?为有源头活水来。” 今年中国画学院研究生毕业展的主题为“源头活水清如许”,中国画学子们坚定文化自信和艺术本体自觉,到源头饮水,强基固本,重塑雅正宽博的审美价值观,弘扬中华民族精神和中国画特质,用手中画笔表现时代气象和自己在社会生活中独特感受。

The predecessors of the Lingnan School of Painting advocated the spirit of "combining Chinese and Western, integrating the past and the present", as well as the practice of painting that focuses on life and faces society. They made bold explorations in the transformation of modern Chinese painting creation, which is a valuable mirror for how the current Chinese painting profession should respond to the great changes of the times. To study, we must first learn and then create, and adhere to the principle of keeping the integrity and making innovations. "Innovation" must be based on "keeping the integrity", and the connotation of "keeping the integrity and making innovations" must be practiced over a longer time axis. Introduction: Ba Duan Jin "one movement, one medicine", strengthens the body and prevents diseases. 作品介绍:作者为64卦做了一套色卡,将64卦象中阴爻、阳爻替换成黄色和玄色,再将每个卦象初爻到上爻顺序由下到上叠加,由此64种不同的色彩叠加顺序即生成了64个色彩。再利用色差仪检测出最终合成色彩的色号(Lab、CMYK、RGB)。

Introduction: The author made a set of color cards for the 64 hexagrams , replacing the yin and yang lines in the 64 hexagrams with yellow and black, and then superimposing the first line to the upper line of each hexagram from bottom to top , thus generating 64 colors by superimposing 64 different colors. Then the color number of the final synthesized color (Lab, CMYK, RGB) was detected using a colorimeter.

作品介绍:作者挑选了红绿两个颜色,依靠个人色感分别调试60遍,再借助色差仪检测出每一次颜色的Lab色号以及误差值。而后将这些数据分红绿两组整体制作明度、色相与误差值变化曲线图。

Introduction: The author selected two colors, red and green, and adjusted them 60 times based on his personal color sense. He then used a colorimeter to detect the Lab color number and error value of each color. He then divided these data into two groups, red and green, and created a curve chart of lightness, hue and error value.

工艺美术学院2024届毕业作品展以“无可替代·方寸”为主题,采用线上线下相结合的方式,对106位本科生和12位研究生的毕业作品进行展示。于方寸间见万千气象,在细微处展宇宙乾坤,这是一种精神上的方寸,是工艺者内心的方寸。在以大数据、大模型为中心的当下,守住工艺中的方寸之心显得尤为重要,人的价值恰在其间得以凸显。

这是一场有敬意与温度的展览,展览所呈现的精神为“恭敬心”。2024届的毕业生们向母校、向老师、向亲友、向自己献上一份朴素真挚的答卷。同学们对自然馈赠的物料保有恭敬心,对传承有序的技艺保有恭敬心,对灵光乍现的巧思保有恭敬心,对作品制作中所消耗的时光也保有恭敬心。他们传承着中华工艺的精髓,同时又将现代审美和科技手段融入其中。这种对传统的敬重和对创新的追求,这种谦逊与敬意,正是“恭敬心”的最好体现。

方寸不乱,自成乾坤。在这个充满变化和挑战的时代,毕业生们保持“恭敬心”,坚守自己的信仰和追求,用勤劳又坚韧的双手,用自己的作品,为这个世界增添一些美好和温暖。

The 2024 Graduation Exhibition of the School of Arts and Crafts is themed "Irreplaceable Square Inch". It uses a combination of online and offline methods to display the graduation works of 106 undergraduates and 12 postgraduates. Seeing the myriad of atmospheres in a square inch and showing the universe in the details is a spiritual square inch, which is the square inch in the heart of the craftsman. In the current era centered on big data and big models, it is particularly important to keep the heart of the square inch in the craft, and the value of people is highlighted in it.

This is a respectful and warm exhibition, and the spirit presented in the exhibition is "respect". The graduates of the class of 2024 presented a simple and sincere answer to their alma mater, teachers, relatives and friends, and themselves. The students are respectful to the Material given by nature, the skills that have been passed down in an orderly manner, the ingenuity that comes to mind, and the time spent in making the works. They inherit the essence of Chinese craftsmanship, while integrating modern aesthetics and technological means into it. 作品介绍:微雨众卉新,一雷惊蛰始,树木枝头蓓蕾惊醒。借大漆以髹涂春天拂面,万物复苏的景象。选择了植物发芽的形态作为主题,通过丸粉和干漆粉技法,营造出一种质感丰富、层次分明的视觉效果,与植物的纹理形成对比,表现自然界的细微之美。 

Introduction: A light rain brings new life to all flowers , a thunder awakens the buds on the branches of trees. The lacquer is used to paint the scene of spring blowing across the face and all things reviving. The budding form of plants is chosen as the theme. Through the techniques of ball powder and dry lacquer powder, a visual effect with rich texture and distinct layers is created, which contrasts with the texture of plants and expresses the subtle beauty of nature.

作品介绍:系列作品采用了石湾陶塑瓦脊常用的民俗文化元素,摒弃了瓦脊公仔精细写实的表现手法和繁复的纹饰,通过强化、夸张的手法对其进行提取再创作,力图打破原有沉闷的塑像形式,保留图像纹样本身的寓意所传递出的深沉含义,使瓦脊公仔以更鲜活、生动的形式出现,焕发新的生机。

Introduction: After a brief period of prosperity, green leaves become nutrients and return to nature. Ceramics are the great crystallization of human craftsmanship. Waste ceramic pieces are like fallen leaves. Foamed ceramics enter a new cycle after undergoing multiple fumigations.

Introduction: Shunde Qinghui Garden is one of the four famous gardens in Lingnan, but there is still a gap in the academic research on the historical context of Qinghui Garden and the appearance of the garden in different periods. This study explores the origin of Qinghui Garden by "discovering" relevant archives, local chronicles, and works of the garden owner, and restores the historical evolution of the garden.

Introduction: Wanzhang Tomb is the highest-level imperial mausoleum of the Northern Qi Dynasty, the tomb of the Buddhist Chakravartin, and one of the few large mural tombs that preserves authentic sixth-century paintings. Research on it helps us understand from one aspect the pictorial expression of the cultural tradition represented by Buddhist beliefs under the medieval regime.

作品介绍:北鼎南鼓,皆国之重器。此作以岭南铜鼓为题材,以书法及传拓为媒介,融合十二生肖、北斗七星等传统文化,并以文人书房陈设进行综合呈现。此作近三万字,于三日之内,一鼓作气写毕,此亦可证古人“日书万字”之说也。自作联以“帼国英雄第一人”冼夫人与铜鼓为题材,以冼夫人平定岭南、致力维护国家统一之历史背景,借古喻今,祝愿伟大的祖国早日实现完全统一。

Introduction: The tripod in the north and the drum in the south are both important instruments of the country. This work is based on the Lingnan bronze drum, and uses calligraphy and rubbing as the medium. It integrates traditional culture such as the twelve zodiac signs and the Big Dipper, and presents it comprehensively with the furnishings of a scholar's study. This work is nearly 30,000 words, and was written in three days in one go, which can also prove the ancient saying of "writing 10,000 words a day". The self-made couplet is based on Lady Xian, the "first female hero of the country", and the bronze drum. It uses the historical background of Lady Xian pacifying Lingnan and working hard to maintain national unity, and uses the past to illustrate the present, wishing the great motherland to achieve complete reunification as soon as possible.

Introduction: The work depicts the scene of late spring, expressing the author's memories of the good old days of childhood. 作品介绍:一件文物就是一个历史故事,今天我们需要让文物活起来,让它们讲故事、讲历史。作者让三星堆青铜像和唐俑,融入当代智能工业元素,营造出穿越古今的画面,使几千年中华文化的历史长河浓缩到这组作品中。作品运用综合材料,以及尚在探索中的特技,用强烈对比的方法,塑造了古与今的时代感。同时,运用装饰艺术的语言,构造出融汇古朴与时尚的空间。作品力求在多方面突破既定的模式,向观者讲述具有当代艺术品格的中国故事。

Introduction: A cultural relic is a historical story. Today we need to make cultural relics come alive, let them tell stories and history. The author integrates the bronze statues of Sanxingdui and the figurines of Tang Dynasty with contemporary intelligent industrial elements to create a picture that travels through ancient and modern times, so that the thousands of years of Chinese cultural history are condensed into this group of works. The work uses comprehensive Material and special effects that are still being explored, and uses a strong contrast method to create a sense of time between ancient and modern times. At the same time, the language of decorative art is used to construct a space that blends simplicity and fashion. Introduction: In the information society, multiple information has infiltrated into individual life, disrupting individual thinking and judgment, and falling into an endless vortex of repetition. "Dimension" refers to the direction, and "degree" refers to the level. It attempts to seek direction in time and space, transcend boundaries, and connect multi-dimensional relationships to observe and question.
