提问与应答,是创作的动力源;提问与应答,既投向未来也延续传统。广州美术学院2024年毕业展,共分三期呈现1787位本科生、415位研究生对艺术世界的蓬勃好奇和他们所做出的真挚应答,展现了在智能化生产方式不断更新、创新模式不断演进的当下,学校引导学生们回应新质生产力发展需求,以跨学科专业融合的创新思维,生生不息、知行合一的探索与实践。
Asking and answering questions is the driving force behind creations, which not only looks into the future but also carries forward traditions. Consisting of three phases, GAFA 2024 Degree Show showcased the vigorous curiosity of 1,787 bachelor’s graduates and 415 master’s graduates about the art world and their sincere responses to it. At a time when intelligent manufacturing and innovation models are constantly being updated, GAFA guides students to respond to the needs for developing new quality productive forces, and to persistently explore and practise unity of knowledge and action with innovative thinking that spans multiple disciplines.
第一期自5月21日开展,持续至5月29日,在广州美术学院大学城美术馆展出了建筑艺术设计学院、工业设计学院(工业与交互设计系、产品设计系、艺术设计学系)、视觉艺术设计学院(视觉传达设计、艺术与科技、数字媒体艺术)、城市学院的本科生毕业创作;在广州美术学院美术馆(昌岗校区)展出了绘画艺术学院、雕塑与公共艺术学院的研究生毕业创作。
The first phase started on May 21 and lasted until May 29. The undergraduate graduation works of the School of Architecture and Applied Arts, the School of Industrial Design (Department of Industrial and Interactive Design, Department of Product Design, Department of Art Design), the School of Visual Arts and Design (Visual Communication Design, Art and Technology, Digital Media Art), and the City School were exhibited at the University Town Art Museum of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts; and the postgraduate graduation works of the School of Painting and Drawing and the School of Sculpture and Public Art were exhibited at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts Art Museum (Changgang Campus).

The School of Architecture and Applied Arts uses "Upgrading" as the theme of its graduation exhibition, focusing on four core topics: first, how to deepen the understanding of professional core and individual growth in the context of industry fluctuations; second, how to explore the methods of integrating aesthetics and science, art and engineering in the era of digital intelligence leap; third, how to leverage the power of local practice to promote the upgrading of the model of collaborative innovation in the bay area humanities; and fourth, how to understand the connotation of new quality productivity and drive the upgrading of the field of high-quality urban and rural construction .
面对快速变革的现实,建筑艺术设计学院六个工作室251名环境设计、建筑学、风景园林专业的本科毕业生,以设计为媒介,通过开放的思维模式、积极的个体探索与专注的社会实践,回应了城市与乡村、现实与未来等复杂问题。

作品说明:高架桥作为城市空间中不可或缺的一部分,给人们带来便利的同时也隔绝了相邻社区的联系。本设计以解放大桥桥下空间及周边社区为例,通过对高架桥的场景营造、叙事脉络、文化区段等进行日常性、周期性、文化性的时间空间要素织补,挖掘出社区人们日常的生活要素,将其拼贴串联到场地之中,作为新的活力触媒点置入,让高架桥下空间成为周边社区的互动连接媒介,成为一个充满烟火气的场所。
Introduction: As an indispensable part of urban space, the overpass brings convenience to people while isolating the connection between adjacent communities. This design takes the space under the Jiefang Bridge and the surrounding communities as an example. By weaving daily, periodic, and cultural time and space elements of the overpass's scene creation, narrative context, and cultural sections, the design digs out the daily life elements of the community people, collages them into the site, and places them as a new catalyst for vitality, making the space under the overpass an interactive connection medium for the surrounding communities and a place full of vitality.

作品介绍:改造以广州市番禺区钻汇广场为例,引入“公园+”的概念,使公园与商业结合共生,营造丰富绿色公园环境,构建功能互补的融合关系,以此解决居民休闲活动选择受限和购物场景扁平化、单一化等问题,打破原有公园与商业之间的孤立状态,为钻汇广场注入新的活力。共生空间取自自然界中不同的自然形态,分别对应社区中不同种类的居民,提出四种差异性的共生单元功能架构。
Introduction: Taking Zuanhui Plaza in Panyu District, Guangzhou as an example, the renovation introduces the concept of "park +", combines parks with businesses, creates a rich green park environment, and builds a fusion relationship with complementary functions, so as to solve the problems of limited choices for residents' leisure activities and flat and single shopping scenes, break the original isolation between parks and businesses, and inject new vitality into Zuanhui Plaza. The symbiotic space is taken from different natural forms in nature, corresponding to different types of residents in the community, and four different symbiotic unit functional architectures are proposed.

作品介绍:随着经济从工业时代向数字时代转变,各行业都面临着巨大变革。农业在数字化转型中需要引入新策略推动发展。面对数字化时代下的新农民与消费者,游戏化模式与传统农业生产结合将会产生巨大的潜力和经济价值。我们以春湾镇作为研究和实践对象,尝试将游戏化模式与当地产业及空间结合,提出将游戏化模式的管理与营销融入当地农业生产。
项目采取线上数字化平台与线下生产管理系统结合的设计策略,根据春湾镇的实景空间构建线上数字场景,为当地农民提供游戏化的产业学习路径与任务安排,并对消费者采用线上游戏激励和链接实际空间的方式,实现线上参与到线下旅游的消费路径。我们围绕当地农业特色——青梅种植与凉果生产,建立交易、生活、仪式等空间,玩家以不同的角色身份参与这场农业游戏,在完成游戏任务时实现对青梅种植、培育、采摘、加工、销售等一系列的产业空间体验。希望构建一个具有创造性、活力的农业实践场景,激发当地特色农业的附加价值,推进传统农业向数字化迈进。
Introduction: As the economy shifts from the industrial age to the digital age, all industries are facing tremendous changes. Agriculture needs to introduce new strategies to promote development in the digital transformation. Facing new farmers and consumers in the digital age, the combination of gamification model and traditional agricultural production will generate huge potential and economic value. We took Chunwan Town as the research and practice object, tried to combine the gamification model with local industries and space, and proposed to integrate the management and marketing of the gamification model into local agricultural production.
The project adopts a design strategy that combines an online digital platform with an offline production management system. It builds an online digital scene based on the real-life space of Chunwan Town, provides local farmers with a game-based industry learning path and task arrangement, and uses online game incentives and links to actual spaces for consumers to achieve a consumption path from online participation to offline tourism. We have established trading, living, and ritual spaces around the local agricultural characteristics of green plum planting and preserved fruit production. Players participate in this agricultural game with different roles and experience a series of industrial spaces such as green plum planting, cultivation, picking, processing, and sales when completing game tasks. We hope to build a creative and dynamic agricultural practice scene, stimulate the added value of local characteristic agriculture, and promote the digitalization of traditional agriculture.

Introduction: The project combines the three highlights of Guangzhou Nanfang Flour Mill, the original old industrial buildings, the surrounding public vitality and the original collective production heritage with modern art, and proposes to transform it into an art gallery with a collective art model, so as to encourage more people to participate in artistic creation with the power of collective art.

作品介绍:场地前身为广州番禺红桥客车厂,曾转型为创意园,后因缺乏管理,没落为二次废墟。作者综合梳理其历史脉络、分析转型历程,发现核心矛盾在于社区与车厂之间的利益冲突,因此针对核心矛盾,提出消融边界、以社区为导向、促进人地互动、屋顶串联节点四大策略,通过平衡各方利益,引入生活图景和游戏体验,使之成为激活新人地关系、重塑归属感、促进居民参与的“生活游戏厂”。
Introduction: The site was formerly the Hongqiao Bus Factory in Panyu district, Guangzhou. It was transformed into a creative park, but later turned into ruins again due to lack of management. The author comprehensively sorted out its historical context and analyzed the transformation process, and found that the core contradiction lies in the conflict of interests between the community and the bus factory. Therefore, in response to the core contradiction, four strategies are proposed: melting boundaries, community-oriented, promoting human-land interaction, and connecting nodes on the roof. By balancing the interests of all parties, introducing life scenes and game experiences. It has become a "life game factory" that activates the new relationship between people and land, reshapes a sense of belonging, and promotes residents' participation.

School of Industrial Design
工业设计学院在第一期中展出工业与交互设计系、产品设计系、艺术设计学系共245位学生的192件(组)作品。
新质生产力是以科技创新为主的生产力,其重要的组成“数字生产力”“绿色生产力”“蓝色生产力”,离不开设计创新的有力推动,离不开前瞻性的设计理念指引,离不开设计教育和人才培养的保障。因此,带着对新质生产力的探索开展教学,成为工业设计学院融贯宏观环境和现实需求的常态。这种探索不仅体现在设计新方向、新命题、新理念、新风格等方面,更主张深层触达设计教育的基础性(如思维的、方法的、实践的、历史的)方面。探索性的设计教学不仅扩充了设计知识的信息量,更探讨了设计知识的非信息内容,将设计领域知识的深层问题置于表层予以考虑。将看似对立的事物整合在一个相互关联的网络之中,体现了更为乐观和进取的态度。使教学相长、学学相长成为一种可能,也为面对未来的变革添注了更多的信心。
In the first phase, the School of Industrial Design exhibited 192 pieces of works by 245 students from the Department of Industrial and Interactive Design, Department of Product Design, and Department of Art Design.
New quality productivity is a kind of productivity based on scientific and technological innovation. Its important components, "digital productivity", "green productivity" and "blue productivity", are inseparable from the strong promotion of design innovation, the guidance of advanced design concepts, and the support of design education and talent training. Therefore, teaching with the exploration of new quality productivity has become the norm for the School of Industrial Design to integrate the macro environment and actual needs. This exploration is not only reflected in new design directions, new propositions, new concepts, and new styles, but also advocates deep access to the basic aspects of design education (such as thinking, methods, practice, and history). Exploratory design teaching not only expands the amount of knowledge in design, but also explores the non-information content of design knowledge, and puts the deep problems of design field knowledge on the surface for consideration. Integrating seemingly contradictory things into an interconnected network reflects a more optimistic and enterprising attitude. It makes it possible for teaching and learning to grow together, and also adds more confidence to face future changes.

作品介绍:随着精品咖啡文化的兴起,人们对咖啡的品质和风味有了更高要求。传统的咖啡拼配方法虽能够创造出多样化的风味,但难以解决拼配稳定性的问题,原因在于大批量的拼配豆无法完全均匀混合,导致了单份咖啡味道不一致,小剂量手工拼配一定程度上解决了拼配稳定性问题,但费时费力,难以商业化。XDosing拼豆机通过精准控制每种豆子的比例,采用“自动化现拼”技术,可按需即时拼配咖啡豆,每次只拼配足够一杯或多杯的份量,确保每一杯出品都能达到预设标准。这不仅满足了精品咖啡对美味稳定性的追求,也为创新风味组合提供了便利,为精品咖啡的拼配带来了革命性改变。
Introduction: With the rise of boutique coffee culture, people have higher requirements for the quality and flavor of coffee. Although the traditional coffee blending method can create a variety of flavors, it is difficult to solve the quality problem of blending. The reason is that large quantities of blended beans cannot be completely evenly mixed, resulting in various taste of a single serving of coffee. Small-dose manual blending solves the problem in a way, but it is time-consuming and labor-intensive and difficult to commercialize. The XDosing bean blending machine can blend coffee beans instantly on demand by precisely controlling the proportion of each bean and using "automatic instant blending" technology. It only blends enough for one or more cups each time to ensure that each cup of product meets the preset standards. This not only meets the boutique coffee's pursuit of delicious stability, but also provides convenience for innovative flavor combinations, bringing revolutionary changes to the blending of boutique coffee.

Introduction: The nursing home two-wheeled patrol robot TITA-Sunset is a robot that efficiently monitors the safety and health of the elderly in nursing homes. It is designed to deal with the problem of nursing staff shortage. The robot uses a two-wheeled mobile platform to efficiently walk and flexibly overcome obstacles in various complex environments in nursing homes. With the help of a small sensing door, it can transform and enter and exit the elderly's room. It is equipped with a contactless sensor that can identify the elderly's movements and postures, detect vital signs and other safety and health information, and has the functions of alarming for abnormal emergency conditions of the elderly, loading medicine boxes to assist in rescue, and connecting with the offspring through an information management APP.

Introduction: This series of smart massage products is designed for contemporary white-collar workers who suffer from health problems such as shoulder and neck pain, back pain, and insomnia due to long-term desk work. It includes inflatable massage straps, smart temperature-controlled eye masks, smart massage belts, and sleep aids. This series of products combines the knowledge of acupoint massage in traditional Chinese medicine with modern massage technology to achieve the best massage effect, allowing users to relax their body and mind at any time. At the same time, the massage assistant reminds users of their sitting posture and long-term sitting problem, and automatically massages for fatigue, helping users to better adjust their physical condition. Introduction: As human beings continue to explore space, the idea of a lunar base as the first permanent settlement of human beings in space is gradually becoming a reality. Honda is committed to providing advanced transportation for space exploration with its innovative and reliable design concepts. The concept design of Honda's "Le Moon" lunar travel vehicle in 2050 is designed to meet the transportation needs of residents of the lunar base. 作品介绍:强迫症作为一种严重的心理疾病,常常让患者陷入无法控制的强迫思维与行为之中,因过度焦虑和恐惧而表现出反复的、刻板的强迫行为,不仅耗费大量时间和精力,也给他们的日常生活带来了极大的困扰。借鉴心理学、医学和设计学等多学科知识,深入了解强迫症患者的心理特点和治疗需求,针对强迫症患者设计出一系列更符合他们使用习惯和心理预期的日常生活脱敏用品,如闹钟、衣架、烟灰缸等,通过改变使用和交互方式,帮助患者减少对特定物品的过度依赖和焦虑反应,具有重要且积极的意义。
Introduction: As a serious mental illness, obsessive-compulsive disorder often causes patients to fall into uncontrollable obsessive thoughts and behaviors. Due to excessive anxiety and fear, they show repetitive and stereotyped compulsive behaviors, which not only wastes a lot of time and energy, but also causes great trouble to their daily lives. Drawing on multidisciplinary knowledge such as psychology, medicine and design, we have a deep understanding of the psychological characteristics and treatment needs of patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder, and designed a series of daily desensitization products for patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder that are more in line with their usage habits and psychological expectations, such as alarm clocks, hangers, ashtrays, etc. By changing the way of use and interaction, it helps patients reduce excessive dependence on specific items and anxiety reactions, which has important and positive significance.

School of Visual Arts Design
视觉艺术设计学院在第一期中呈现了视觉传达设计、艺术与科技、数字媒体艺术专业195位学生,74件(组)作品。
艺术与设计,都需要也旨在培养发展人的主体性,从内在的思维、观念到外在的作品、风格,至于具体的工具,无论是画笔、电脑、泥土还是AI,都只是艺术家、设计师用以表达的方式与桥梁。因此,面对越来越强大的工具客体,人还是需要回到本源思考,只能用人的主体性去回应去驱动,而不是相反,也绝不能相反。在这种交互活跃甚至彼此对抗生成的过程中,无论是客体还是主体,都得到进化与升级,形成一个正向循环的状态,这也正是AI人工智能的某种底层逻辑。这同样也是毕设创作过程中作为创作主体的学生与创作指导的教师之间的逻辑与状态,展览中所呈现的最终作品,在同样的时间和条件下,能形成如此多元多样的面貌,都是创作单元的师生主体互动的结果。
如果说2023年是AI元年,希望2024年是人类在面对AI冲击之下,而激发出原本就存在着的“人之所以为人”的主体意识之年。
In the first session, the School of Visual Arts Design presented 74 works by 195 students majoring in visual communication design, art and science, and digital media art.
Art and design both need and aim to cultivate and develop human subjectivity, from internal thinking and concepts to external works and styles. As for specific tools, whether it is a brush, a computer, clay or AI, they are just ways and bridges for artists and designers to express themselves. Therefore, in the face of increasingly powerful tool objects, people still need to return to the source of thinking, and can only respond and drive with human subjectivity, not the opposite, and never the opposite. In this interactive and even antagonistic process, both the object and the subject have evolved and upgraded, forming a positive cycle, which is also a certain underlying logic of AI artificial intelligence. This is also the logic and state between students as the creative subject and teachers who provide creative guidance in the process of graduation creation. The final works presented in the exhibition can form such a diverse appearance under the same time and conditions, are the result of the interaction between teachers and students in the creative unit.
If 2023 is the first year of AI, I hope that 2024 will be the year when humans, in the face of the impact of AI, stimulate their already existing subjective consciousness of "what makes them human".

作品说明:“人工直觉”是一件探索人工智能“直觉”演化的大型视听艺术装置。作品将机械臂动态运动与屏幕视觉变化相结合,分析人工智能的基础框架——神经网络和机器学习,并将这些理性技术逻辑转化为视觉艺术的创作路径。作品以循环不断的实验形式,引入多模态现实数据,并将其转换为叙事元素,辅以机械臂动态表现人工智能的“身体语言”,屏幕则成为窥视其意识演变的窗口。

Introduction: "Artificial Intuition" is a large-scale audio-visual art installation that explores the evolution of artificial intelligence's "intuition". The work combines the dynamic movement of the robotic arm with the visual changes on the screen, analyzes the basic framework of artificial intelligence - neural networks and machine learning, and transforms these rational technical logics into the creative path of visual art. The work introduces multimodal real-world data in a cyclical experimental form and converts it into narrative elements, supplemented by the dynamic expression of the "body language" of artificial intelligence by the robotic arm, and the screen becomes a window to peek into the evolution of its consciousness.
The work is not only an exploration of the boundaries between artificial intelligence and human consciousness, but also an artistic display of the integration of technology and emotion. It explores the new cognition and value ethics of human society in the context of artificial intelligence by reshaping the relationship between humans and machines, creators and tools, and inspires viewers to think deeply about the future possibilities of artificial intelligence.

Introduction: Human society is changing at an accelerated pace, and everyone has to follow the huge pendulum of the times. Philosopher Han Bingzhe proposed in his book "The Burnout Society" that people should create sacred time for themselves, allowing themselves to enjoy deep boredom and experience "useless things".
Reading - smearing - re-creation. We try to experience profound boredom in literature and art, explore the relationship between us and language, and find the ability to meditate. When art and literature go hand in hand, we can extract the essence of sentences through the smearing of words between pages, examine the power of language, and create infinite pragmatic possibilities in books.

Introduction: This work explores the subtle relationship between people and the changes in the surrounding environment. It focuses on the changes in the macroscopic distribution of mangroves along the coast of Guangdong. It reproduces the slowly changing ecology of coastal mangroves and, through the reshaping of the landscape, shows people's numbness to environmental changes and the blurring of their memories. This raises a question for the audience: Is the coast in your mind still the same as before?

作品介绍:在城中村改造的背景下,我们以线上档案和线下沉浸式空间为媒介,诉说城中村的群体记忆。这片土地是中国城市化进程的见证者,承载着无数流动与固定居民的生活轨迹,亦是岁月变迁的缩影。
我们在广东省的多个区域进行田野调查,与76位城中村居民交谈,聆听他们心中的故事与期待。在线上,我们将这些珍贵的访谈内容化作纪录片,同时扫描了居民的房间,按照阳光充沛度排列,呈现出一幢幢细窄的“高楼”,展示着房屋的结构与阳光的分布。每一次点击,“高楼”中的房间如同打开了一个故事盒子,展现出独特的人生轨迹。在线下,我们筑起了一个外白内黑的巷子,弯弯曲曲,通向一个被夹缝包裹的装置,装置的背后,一块大屏模拟城中村的天空,一束光投射而下,引领人们向光前行。当触碰到光束,屏幕逐渐明亮,照亮整个空间,观者手中展现出城中村的温情画面。这一幕,仿佛城中村的居民,不断寻找着希望与温暖。
在空间的外墙,投影出线上的纪录片档案,观者可以通过触摸交互屏幕,调取他们想要了解的房间信息。这个空间不仅仅记录城中村的过往,更是一场关于希望与光明的追寻。
Introduction: In the context of urban village reconstruction, we use online archives and offline immersive spaces as a medium to tell the collective memory of urban villages. This land is a witness to China's urbanization process, carrying the life trajectories of countless mobile and fixed residents, and is also a microcosm of the changes of time.
We conducted field surveys in multiple areas of Guangdong Province, talked with 76 residents of urban villages, and listened to their stories and expectations. Online, we turned these precious interviews into documentaries, and scanned the residents' rooms, arranged them according to the abundance of sunlight, and presented a series of narrow "high-rise buildings", showing the structure of the house and the distribution of sunlight. With each click, the room in the "high-rise building" is like opening a story box, showing a unique life trajectory. Offline, we built an alley that is white outside and black inside, winding and leading to a device wrapped in a crack. Behind the device, a large screen simulates the sky of the urban village, and a beam of light is projected down, leading people to the light. When the beam is touched, the screen gradually brightens, illuminating the entire space, and the viewer shows a warm picture of the urban village in his hand. This scene is like the residents of the urban village, constantly looking for hope and warmth.
Online documentary archives are projected on the outer wall of the space, and viewers can access the room information they want to know by touching the interactive screen. This space not only records the past of the urban village, but also a pursuit of hope and light.

作品介绍:在信息过载的环境下,人们经常难以识别和评估风险与挑战,为获取最佳解决方案,不自觉陷入紧张状态,尤在小事上明显。查攻略可以提供验证的方法和技巧,降低错误风险,事半功倍。然而,但在这紧绷的心理环境下,即便小事,大部分人仍用繁琐过程,耗时耗力求“最优解”,造成了事半“工”倍的局面,消耗过度精力和时间。为此我们探讨在信息过载下查攻略的精力和时间成本,揭示追求完美与成功的焦虑与疲惫。通过设计呈现为了小事查找攻略的过程,引起人们对无意识的紧绷生活的自我思考,是否值得为了每个细节都如此费心?
Introduction: In an environment of information overload, people often find it difficult to identify and assess risks and challenges. In order to obtain the best solution, they unconsciously fall into a state of tension, especially in trivial matters. Checking strategies can provide verification methods and techniques, reduce the risk of errors, and achieve twice the result with half the effort. However, in this tense psychological environment, even for trivial matters, most people still use cumbersome processes, which are time-consuming and labor-intensive to seek the "optimal solution", resulting in a situation of twice the work with half the effort, and consuming excessive energy and time. For this reason, we explore the energy and time cost of checking strategies under information overload, revealing the anxiety and fatigue of pursuing perfection and success. By designing the process of looking for strategies for trivial matters, people are prompted to reflect on their unconscious tense lives. Is it worth it to worry so much about every detail?

乡村是中国的根脉与基石,乡村振兴不仅是建设现代化经济体系的重要基础,同时也是文化传承的桥梁与生态保护的前线。本次城市学院毕业展主题为“艺术赋能乡村振兴”,在此主题下设置了“川流不息,不忘初心”和“瑶鼓相迎,千米画廊”两个选题方向,均与广州美术学院有着密切联系。“川流不息,不忘初心”设计选址福建龙岩市永定区下洋镇中川村,是广州美术学院第一任书记兼院长——胡一川先生的故乡。该主题设计聚焦于通过艺术驱动中川村“现代农业 + 乡村旅游 + 文化创意”的深度融合,其内核体现了胡一川先生坚守本土,立足民族,奔赴未来的艺术创作及教育理念。“瑶鼓相迎,千米画廊”设计选址广东阳春永宁镇横垌瑶族村。阳春是广东省“双百行动”中广州美术学院的结对帮扶对象。该村整体设计正朝着集瑶文化、中医、红色旅游、民俗体验于一体的高端旅游目标迈进,通过发展文旅经济,推动乡村振兴与民族共荣,同时保护生态环境与民族文化,精心雕琢一个展现瑶族风情与和谐生态的美丽瑶寨。
A total of 100 students and 29 pieces of works from City School showed in the undergraduate exhibition.
The countryside is the root and foundation of China. Rural revitalization is not only an important foundation for building a modern economic system, but also a bridge for cultural inheritance and the front line of ecological protection. The theme of the City School graduation exhibition is "Art Empowers Rural Revitalization". Under this theme, two topics are set up, "Continuous Flow, Never Forget the Original Endeavor" and "Yao Drum Welcome, Thousand-meter Gallery", both of which are closely related to Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. The design site of the first topic is Zhongchuan Village, Xiayang Town, Yongding District, Longyan City, Fujian Province, which is the hometown of Mr. Hu Yichuan, the first secretary and president of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. The theme focuses on the deep integration of "modern agriculture + rural tourism + cultural creativity" in Zhongchuan Village driven by art. Its core reflects Mr. Hu Yichuan's artistic creation and educational philosophy of sticking to the local, based on the nation, and rushing to the future. The design site of "Yao Drum Welcome, Thousand-meter Gallery" is Hengdong Yao Village, Yongning Town, Yangchun , Guangdong. Yangchun is the paired assistance target of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in Guangdong Province's "Double Hundred Action". The overall design of the village is moving towards the high-end tourism goal of integrating Yao culture, traditional Chinese medicine, red tourism, and folk experience. By developing the cultural and tourism economy, it will promote rural revitalization and national prosperity, while protecting the ecological environment and national culture, and carefully carving out a beautiful Yao village that showcases the Yao customs and harmonious ecology.

Introduction: The "Looking at the Sea of Stars" campsite design project provides tourists with the ultimate stargazing experience. It is located in the original ecological natural scenic area of Hengdong Yao Village. The design follows the principle of locality, integrates Yao culture and architectural features, and uses local sustainable Material such as bamboo, wood and stone to reflect the rustic beauty. The design concept revolves around creating a natural star-gazing resort, providing tourists with an unforgettable starry sky experience through the harmonious coexistence of man and nature, while promoting local economic sustainability.

作品介绍:我们的设计灵感取自于“一叶扁舟”一词。将抽象的名词化作具象的“扁舟”与“树叶”,贯穿于整座建筑的设计之中。将选址的原村委建筑作为研究改造对象,通过围绕建筑主体建立廊道与风雨桥,从不同维度植入灵感概念,使得建筑成为一个与环境相呼应的有机整体。期望村民与游客能从此地,感受到建筑与自然的整体和谐之美。
Introduction: Our inspiration comes from the term "a small boat with a leaf". The abstract noun is transformed into a concrete "boat" and "leaf", which runs through the design of the entire building. The original village committee building is selected as the research and transformation object. By building corridors and wind and rain bridges around the main body of the building, the inspiration concept is implanted from different dimensions, making the building an organic whole that echoes the environment. It is hoped that villagers and tourists can feel the overall harmonious beauty of architecture and nature from this place.

本设计选址位于胡一川先生家乡--中川村,将建筑比喻成胡一川,遥望养育自己的村落。建筑具体位于一片田野之上,意在描绘出田园牧歌般的意境——“田野里的光影迷宫”。通过光与空间表达其情绪与内涵,带领人们在作品和展厅氛围中回溯胡一川一生,获得 “勇敢地跑到时代的前头当旗手”的人生追求。
Introduction: Looking at everyone from afar, there is always a vague but persistent memory in the mind, about the breeze and the fields, about the soil and the mountains.
The design site is located in Zhongchuan Village, the hometown of Mr. Hu Yichuan. The building is likened to Hu Yichuan, looking at the village that raised him. The building is located on a field, which is intended to depict an idyllic artistic conception - "a maze of light and shadow in the field". Through light and space, it expresses its emotions and connotations, leading people to look back on Hu Yichuan's life in the atmosphere of the works and exhibition hall, and gain the life pursuit of "bravely running to the front of the times and being a standard-bearer".

Introduction: Based on the transformation of the old recreation center for the elderly in the village into a cultural center for villagers' activities and a canteen for the elderly, the reshaping of the culture and lifestyle of the building and theater also enriches the lifestyle and high spiritual needs, promotes people's communication, and rejuvenates old resources through the evolution of elements, stimulates regional activity, and feeds the canteen with catering to promote sustainable development. It expands from "horizontally" to "vertically", and transforms from "real" objects to "virtual" places, with special streamline relationships and diverse walking experiences.

In 2024, a total of 100 postgraduate students from the School of Painting and Drawing participates in the graduation exhibition. Under the careful guidance of their tutors, the students have presented a number of excellent graduation works through long-term artistic creation practice. These works reflect diversified artistic pursuits. On the one hand, they show solid painting skills and inheritance of tradition, and on the other hand, they reflect the young generation's sensitivity to images and new understanding of painting. Their expression of life experience and concepts is expressed through free painting patterns, bold picture forms and exploration of media, reflecting the consistent academic proposition of openness, tolerance and free exploration of the School of Painting and Drawing of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts.

作品介绍:创作主题是《失乐园》中大天使路西法的经历,从他辉煌盖过繁星直至堕落成引诱亚当夏娃吃下禁果的大蛇,“悲剧就是将一切美好的东西毁灭给人看”这个角色充满了悲剧的色彩,无论是路西法还是亚当夏娃到最后都一一失去了本属于自己的位置,但我却不想营造出一种悲哀的结局,经过命运长河的洗礼故事中的人物都可以掌控自己的命运。我创作这幅作品时的内心想法是,面对这个浮躁的社会有多少人能看清自己居于什么位置,面对繁花似的物质世界能回归自己的本心,坚持自己内心的情感不被动摇。
Introduction: The theme of the work is the experience of the Archangel Lucifer in Paradise Lost, from his glory overshadowing the stars to his fall into a serpent that tempted Adam and Eve to eat the forbidden fruit. "Tragedy is to destroy all beautiful things for people to see." This character is full of tragic colors. Both Lucifer and Adam and Eve lost their own positions in the end, but I don't want to create a sad ending. After the baptism of the long river of fate, the characters in the story can control their own destiny. When I created this work, I thought to myself, facing this impetuous society, how many people can see clearly where they are, facing the material world like flowers, can return to their original hearts, and insist on their inner feelings without being shaken.

作品介绍:《火树银花》出自唐代苏味道的《正月十五夜》“火树银花合,星桥铁锁开”解释为:明灯错落,园林深处映射出璀璨的光芒有如娇艳的花朵一般,由于四处都可通行,所以城门的铁索也打开了,该系列创作始于疫情期间,也暗示在这困境寻求突破,寻找希望的光芒,画面的蓝,如歌德所形容,蓝色是一种生动的颜色,但是缺乏喜悦,可以说,它扰乱而非增添生趣,所以用它来表现画面,让两者之间有一个冲突对撞。再对整体画面的图像化,重新建构,将其具体内容简化,消减于表象的常规视觉经验的图示,营造一种特殊的视觉效果。
Introduction: "Fire Trees and Silver Flowers" comes from "The Fifteenth Night of the First Month" by Su Weidao of the Tang Dynasty. "Fire trees and silver flowers are together, and the iron locks of the star bridge are opened" is interpreted as: the lights are scattered, and the deep garden reflects the dazzling light like delicate flowers. Since it is accessible everywhere, the iron chain of the city gate is also opened. This series of creations began during the epidemic, and it also implies seeking breakthroughs in this predicament and looking for the light of hope. The blue of the picture, as described by Goethe, is a vivid color, but lacks joy. It can be said that it disturbs rather than adds interest to life, so it is used to express the picture, so that there is a conflict between the two. Then visualize the overall picture, reconstruct it, simplify its specific content, and reduce it to the icon of conventional visual experience of the appearance, creating a special visual effect.

雕塑与公共艺术学院13位2024届硕士研究生毕业作品在创作维度上的差异性,似乎是对“异质共时”的雕塑教育现状的最好注解。主题性雕塑作品中可以看到对雕塑本体语言的持续探索,多数作品中又可以发见材料意识在不同语境中的推进,从社会雕塑等观念意识出发所进行的艺术性社会研究、参与式艺术社会实践也参见其中,而数字技术的影响力更是随处可见。
古典雕塑的人文理性、现代雕塑的形式本体、当代雕塑的话语系统,这些异质的属性同时在一个展览中呈现,看似“无厘头”的并置,实则有其逻辑源头——那就是改革开放几十年来我们对“中国雕塑教学现代转向”的共同想象——以“形意识”激发人文理性,形成思考现代转向的基础;以“材料意识”推进形式本体,成为推动现代转向的核心媒介;以“观念意识”的自觉,作为现代转向的内在而持续的动力。
The differences in the creative dimensions of the graduation works of 13 2024 master's students of the School of Sculpture and Public Art seem to be the best annotation of the current status of sculpture education of "heterogeneous synchronicity". Thematic sculptures show the continuous exploration of the ontological language of sculpture, and most works show the advancement of material awareness in different contexts. Artistic social research and participatory art social practice based on the concept of social sculpture are also included, and the influence of digital technology can be seen everywhere.
The humanistic rationality of classical sculpture, the formal ontology of modern sculpture, and the discourse system of contemporary sculpture, these heterogeneous attributes are presented in one exhibition at the same time. The seemingly "nonsensical" juxtaposition actually has its logical source - that is, our common imagination of the "modern turn of Chinese sculpture teaching" over the decades of reform and opening up - using "form consciousness" to stimulate humanistic rationality and form the basis for thinking about the modern turn; using "material consciousness" to promote the formal ontology and become the core medium for promoting the modern turn; using the consciousness of "concept consciousness" as the internal and continuous driving force of the modern turn.

Introduction: The work is based on the Tangxi sword forging technique, a national intangible cultural heritage handicraft in Henan Province. It revolves around the theme of "forging swords for the country". Through extraction and re-creation, the process of forging the sword body is transformed into mechanical movement. The rhythm of the forging sound is linked with the "Shan Zi Jia", and a war song is formed through computer algorithm arrangement. The color changes of the hot forging of the "Shan Zi Jia" realize the visualization of the sword forging sound, in order to express the national spirit of tempering into steel, constant tempering, and indomitable spirit.

作品介绍:作者以杭州、广州两座故乡城市作为创作对象,分为“城”“迹”两个部分。“城”代表城市意象,通过解构、重组提取杭、穗两城意象建筑物的造型符号,并运用反射率极低的黑色涂料和电镀工艺模拟阳光在建筑物表面的流转变化,夜晚的黑消解了空间的纵深感,并和光照下的镜面反射效果形成强烈反差,不同光线下对城市意象的描绘加强了两座城市的轮廓;“迹”侧重个人体验,运用便携式3d扫描设备记录了“杭州—广州”往返路径,并将其形成的三维空间作为主体,与近十年作者所搭乘航班的班次、日期、座位号、起飞时间等信息相融合,实现了二维符号的时间痕迹与三维空间的路线痕迹的可视化穿插,以个人视角展现两城的联系与交织。两部分交相呼应,共同勾勒出一个与现实空间交融且可读的双城记忆。
Introduction: The author takes Hangzhou and Guangzhou, his hometowns, as the subject of his creation, which is divided into two parts: "City" and "Trace". "City" represents the image of the city. The modeling symbols of the buildings of Hangzhou and Guangzhou are extracted through deconstruction and reorganization, and the black paint with extremely low reflectivity and electroplating technology are used to simulate the flow and change of sunlight on the surface of the building. The darkness of the night eliminates the sense of depth of the space and forms a strong contrast with the mirror reflection effect under the light. The depiction of the city image under different light strengthens the outline of the two cities; "Trace" focuses on personal experience. The portable 3D scanning equipment is used to record the round-trip route of "Hangzhou-Guangzhou", and the three-dimensional space formed by it is used as the main body. It is integrated with the flight number, date, seat number, departure time and other information of the author's flights in the past ten years, realizing the visualization of the time traces of two-dimensional symbols and the route traces of three-dimensional space, showing the connection and interweaving of the two cities from a personal perspective. The two parts echo each other, jointly outlining a readable memory of the two cities that blends with the real space.

Introduction: This work combines traditional Chinese cultural ideas with AI algorithm generation technology. Among them, "One gives birth to two, two gives birth to three, and three gives birth to all things" reflects the potential truth of all things, that is, the "flow of life". The work is based on the twelve sounds of nature, generating various three-dimensional shapes to show different digital scenes. After algorithmic reconstruction, it shows a completely different form from nature. This work combines traditional cultural ideas with modern digital technology, aiming to explore the possibility of contemporary digital sculpture creation in the context of Chinese culture.

Introduction: Through a modular approach, each work is shaped into a real space with a fictional tendency, as well as a predicted "future thing" that can be displayed in the present. This is a kind of imitation and prediction of the author's observation and understanding of the world, and also expresses the author's thinking about nature and artificiality, the present and the future.
