"In 2011, I came to Valencia for the first time because the documentary "Pottery from the Ethnic Minorities in Southwest China" about pottery making by ethnic minorities in southwest China, which I collaborated with Chinese ceramic artist Lu Bin, was selected for the MICICE Film Festival. Today, 13 years later, it is my tenth visit here. Times are changing, everything is changing, but the core of ceramic cultural exchange has never changed. This time we bring a record of the creative process of Western ceramic artists in Jingdezhen, China. This is a true "cooperation", a cooperation between "ceramics" and "film", between our teacher-student team, and between Eastern and Western ceramic culture. Ceramic images allow us to step out of the artist's personal perspective, inspire us to explore the world, and increase our tolerance for the culture of others. Just as the title of the film "Entre lo possible y lo imposible" suggests, ceramics are exploring the space between the possible and the impossible, making the impossible possible." Tan Hongyu spoke at the opening ceremony as an important guest of the film festival.
