毕业季展览，是一次集体发声。今年的广美毕业展，共有来自不同专业背景的1585位本科生、431位研究生一起创意合奏。在学校“关注现实、服务社会”教学导向与“惟实励新”的优良学风的浸润下，依托“创新赋能”的教学体系，2025届毕业生们的作品呈现出回归生活现场，回应现实问题的总体倾向。
Degree Show is a collective showcase of voices from graduating students. This year’s GAFA Degree Show will be a creative symphony of 1,585 undergraduate and 431 postgraduate students from diverse academic backgrounds. Guided by GAFA’s teaching philosophy of engaging with reality and contributing to society and its ethos of rigorous practice and relentless innovation, the class of 2025 will present works characterized by a profound immersion in everyday life and a thoughtful response to real-world problems out of an innovation-powered educational framework.
第一期自5月18日开展，将持续至5月28日，在广州美术学院大学城美术馆展出了中国画学院、绘画艺术学院、雕塑与公共艺术学院、艺术与人文学院的本科生毕业创作;在广州美术学院美术馆(昌岗校区)、岭南画派纪念馆展出了绘画艺术学院、工业设计学院的研究生毕业创作。
The first phase of the show will run from May 18 to May 28, showcasing undergraduate works from School of Chinese Painting, School of Painting and Drawing, School of Sculpture and Public Art, and School of Arts and Humanities at GAFA Art Museum (Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center Campus), as well as postgraduate works from School of Painting and Drawing and School of Innovation Design at GAFA Art Museum (Changgang Campus) and Memorial Hall of Lingnan School of Painting.

中国画学院的毕业生们，面对瞬息万变的当下社会，以自身的感知力窥探着时代的各种脉动，他们的作品中，有对城市化进程的迷思，对生态环境的注视，对人际关系的困惑，对自身价值认同的追寻……同学们用自己理解的传统笔墨描绘自己理解的当代生活，在纸绢上记录着属于这个时代的困惑与思索。
Graduates of the Chinese Painting School use their own perception to feel the pulses of the times. Their works reflect the mysteries of urbanization, the concern for the ecological environment, the confusion about interpersonal relationships, and the pursuit of self-value recognition ... The students use their own understanding of traditional brush and ink to depict their own understanding of contemporary life, and record the confusion and thoughts of this era on paper and silk.
展览中的每件作品都呈现创作者内心世界的投射。有些作品以传统山水为框架，却融入了现代建筑的符号;有的花鸟画在继承传统技法的基础上，加入了当代视觉观看的特殊视角;有的人物画作品则直接以二次元的形式表达这一代年轻人内心的迷茫与状态;书法作品中不乏有将对传统的敬畏化作自身的笔线墨痕去叩问岁月抹去的那份回味，壁画的层层透染研磨也彰显着岩彩润物细无声的浪漫;斑驳缺失的画作在保存修复的学生指尖正在若隐若现地重现当年绝美的容颜……这何尝不是在一点一点地迈向成熟，从而体现了年轻一代学子对传统尊重性转化和创新性推进的深浅不一步伐。
Each work in the exhibition reflects the artist's inner world. Some utilize traditional landscapes as a framework, yet incorporate symbols of modern architecture; some flower and bird paintings inherit traditional techniques while incorporating a unique contemporary perspective; some figure paintings directly express the inner confusion and state of mind of this generation of young people through a two-dimensional form; many calligraphy works transform their reverence for tradition into their own brushstrokes and ink marks, questioning the aftertaste erased by time; the layers of dyeing and polishing in the murals also highlight the subtle and romantic charm of rock color; mottled and damaged paintings are now faintly recreating their former beauty through the fingertips of students who are preserving and restoring them... This is a gradual step towards maturity, reflecting the varying degrees of respect for tradition and innovative advancement of the younger generation of students.

绘画艺术学院的毕业生们，以青春之姿回应大数据、人工智能之变；以青春之思关注自我、展现少年锐气;以青春之笔，叙中国故事、展广美情怀。同时，今年也是广美叙事性绘画实验班以整体姿态首次亮相毕业展，历经三年的教学实验，首届毕业生分别以文化传承、美好生活及乡村振兴为主题，通过集体创作的方式，在对标国家主题性美术创作工程作品尺幅的前提下，真正深入生活，为时代写照，以现实主义的态度实践艺术为人民的宗旨，展现了高等艺术院校绘画专业本科教学新的可能性。
Graduates of the School of Painting and Drawing responded to the changes of big data and artificial intelligence with youthful spirit ; focused on themselves with youthful thinking and displayed youthful vigor; and used their youthful pens to narrate Chinese stories and express the sentiments of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. This year also marked the debut of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts' narrative painting experimental class as a whole at their graduation exhibition. After three years of teaching and experimentation, the inaugural class of graduates took the themes of cultural heritage, a better life, and rural revitalization as their respective themes. Through collective creation, while meeting the scale of works specified in the National Thematic Art Creation Project, they truly immersed themselves in life, portrayed the times, and practiced the principle of art for the people with a realistic attitude, demonstrating new possibilities for undergraduate painting education at art colleges.

雕塑与公共艺术学院2025届本科毕业展共展出77位毕业生创作的69件/组作品。作品展示以专业与工作室脉络划分，分为雕塑与公共艺术两个专业，雕塑专业又设置具象雕塑工作室的“具象的理由”与实验雕塑工作室的“形骸之外·思辨未央”两个主题版块。
The 2025 undergraduate graduation exhibition of the School of Sculpture and Public Art showcased 69 works/groups created by 77 graduates. The exhibition was divided into two majors, Sculpture and Public Art, by discipline and studio. The Sculpture major featured two themed sections: "Reasons for Representation " in the Figurative Sculpture Studio and " Beyond the Form: Endless Speculation " in the Experimental Sculpture Studio .
具象雕塑，将“理性”暗含于心手相应的感性“状物”，作为学院教育的根基，今年也忽发新枝，用中国传统文化的叙事与定格动画的媒介，将具象雕塑带入“另一个世界”。
Figurative sculpture, a foundation of the school's education, incorporates rationality into the sensual "construction" of objects through the interaction of heart and hand. This year, it saw a new development, using narratives from traditional Chinese culture and the medium of stop-motion animation to bring figurative sculpture into an "alternative world."
实验雕塑，张扬观念导向与科技导向，在观念与材料的持续拓展中，今年更注重对自我疗愈与人工智能方向的探索。公共艺术专业的主题为“公共生活谱系”，是对“何为公共性”的再思考，创作聚焦于公共生活中的寻常之物，尝试以谱系学的眼光，让公共性的“线索”重新显影。
Experimental sculpture, embracing both conceptual and technological approaches, continued to expand its concepts and materials, with a particular emphasis on exploring self-healing and artificial intelligence. The theme of the Public Art major, "Genealogy of Public Life," reconsidered the concept of publicness. The works focused on ordinary objects in public life, attempting to re-examine the "threads" of publicness through a genealogical lens.

The School of Arts and Humanities' exhibition, themed "returning tide," a common climatic phenomenon in southern China, serves as a metaphor for the dilemma faced in interpreting research subjects during university life—an unbridgeable gap between observation and interpretation, a permeation of moisture. Of course, the receding dampness of May brings clarity and transparency, like the refreshing breeze that artistic research feeds back to explorers, dispelling entanglements and hesitations.

工业设计学院2025届研究生毕业设计展汇聚了53位硕士研究生(MFA34位，MA19位)的创新设计成果。展览通过关注健康福祉、智能技术协同、人文情感构建、文化传承演绎和可持续未来规划等议题，展现了研究生们以设计介入社会的重要能力，以及对现代设计的深度思考。
The School of Innovation Design's 2025 graduate student exhibition showcased the innovative designs of 53 master's students (34 MFA students and 19 MA students). Focusing on topics such as health and well-being, intelligent technology collaboration, the construction of humanistic emotions , cultural heritage interpretation, and sustainable future planning, the exhibition showcased the graduates' significant ability to engage with society through design, as well as their in-depth reflections on modern design.
作品覆盖了产品设计、服装设计、染织设计等专业领域，呈现出从技术推进到意义深掘的多维探索趋势。研究生们通过对问题的敏锐洞察，以科技为工具、以文化为载体，以开放的创新视角解读了技术与人文的平衡点。他们的设计深入探讨了人机交互的边界、情感设计的表达以及生活场景中的服务创新，不断用设计语言建构属于未来的图景，也为社会、文化与环境的建设提供了明确的洞察力。同时，部分设计成果已进入企业研发的初始阶段甚至已实现转化落地，充分体现了创新设计与实际应用的联动特点。
The works spanned professional fields such as product design, fashion design, and dyeing and weaving design, demonstrating a multi-dimensional exploration trend from technological advancement to the deep exploration of meaning. Through keen insight into the issues, using technology as a tool and culture as a vehicle, these graduate students interpreted the balance between technology and humanity from an open and innovative perspective. Their designs delved into the boundaries of human-computer interaction, the expression of emotional design, and service innovation in everyday scenarios. They continuously used design language to construct visions of the future and provided clear insights into the development of society, culture, and the environment. Furthermore, some of the design results have entered the initial stages of corporate R&D and even achieved commercialization, fully demonstrating the linkage between innovative design and practical application.
