近日，为丰富留学生课外教育学习活动，学习、了解黄埔军校的历史、黄埔军校的革命精神和中国近现代史，参观学习具有岭南祠堂式四合院建筑特色的军校旧址文物建筑，留学生办公室组织现在校留学生等赴黄埔军校旧址开展课外教育学习活动。

Recently, in order to enrich the extracurricular educational activities of international students and to help them learn about the history of the Whampoa Military Academy, its revolutionary spirit, and modern Chinese history, the International Students Office organized a field study visit to the former site of the Whampoa Military Academy for international students currently enrolled at GAFA. During the visit, students explored the historic academy buildings, which feature the distinctive Lingnan ancestral-hall-style courtyard architecture, gaining firsthand insight into this important cultural heritage site.

黄埔军校原为清朝陆军小学和海军学校校舍。1924年6月16日，孙中山先生在苏联顾问帮助下，在长洲岛创办了培养军事干部的学校，为名“中国国民党陆军军官学校”，后更名为“中华民国陆军军官学校”，现统称“黄埔军校”。军校群英荟萃，名将辈出，在中国近代史和军事史上具有重要意义。

The Whampoa Military Academy was originally the campus of a Qing Dynasty Army Primary School and Naval School. On June 16, 1924, with the assistance of Soviet advisers, Dr. Sun Yat-sen founded a military academy on Changzhou Island to train military officers, officially named the Military Academy of Kuomintang of China. It was later renamed the Republic of China Military Academy and is now collectively known as the Whampoa Military Academy. Renowned for producing a remarkable number of outstanding military leaders, the academy holds significant importance in the history of modern China and Chinese military history.

参观黄埔军校，看到当年青年学员的照片与物品。他们年纪轻轻就肩负重任，在当时的中国，艰苦环境中坚定学习。这份跨越时空的青春与理想，让人心生敬意。

During my visit to the Whampoa Military Academy, I saw photographs and personal belongings of the young cadets from that era. Despite their young age, they bore great responsibilities and remained committed to their studies under extremely difficult conditions in China at the time. This spirit of youth and idealism that transcends time inspires deep respect.

今天很有幸可以与朋友们一起参观黄埔军校，而且也通过这次的参观了解到了孙中山创办黄埔军校的原因。其中，我也理解了当时军人的穿着打扮、学习与生活环境，还得知了他们的日常生活规律。可以认识到这些让我深受感叹，有机会的话我会再次参观此遗址。

I felt very fortunate to visit the Whampoa Military Academy with my friends today. Through this visit, I gained a better understanding of why Dr. Sun Yat-sen founded the academy. I also learned about the soldiers’ attire, their learning and living environments, and their daily routines. Being able to learn about these aspects left a strong impression on me, and if given the opportunity, I would like to visit this historic site again.
