为丰富留学生课外教育学习活动，学习和了解岭南文化，将热带、亚热带植物知识和岭南园林文化融合展示，讲好中国植物故事，彰显中华文化和生物多样性魅力，留学生办公室于11月26日组织现在校留学生等赴中国科学院华南国家植物园开展课外教育学习活动。

In order to enrich extracurricular education for international students, enhance their understanding of Lingnan culture, and showcase the diversity of tropical and subtropical plants as well as the artistry of Lingnan gardens, GAFA Office of International Student Affairs arranged a trip to South China National Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences on November 26. The activity was designed to vividly convey the story of Chinese plants and to highlight the appeal of China’s rich biodiversity and cultural heritage.

通过参观温室群景区、龙洞琪林景区、珍稀濒危植物繁育中心，以及木兰园、棕榈园、姜园等39个专类园，留学生们对热带、亚热带植物知识有了一定的了解。也欣赏了岭南园林文化，对其“山清水秀、鸟语花香、峰回路转”的风格和特色赞叹不已，从中体会到中国传统园林“师法自然”的美学思想。对华南国家植物园在绿色发展、植物资源保护与利用方面取得的成绩表示称赞。

During the visit, students explored Greenhouse Complex, Longdong Qilong Area, Breeding Center for Rare and Endangered Plants, and 39 specialized gardens, such as Magnolia Garden, Palm Garden, and Ginger Garden. This immersive journey offered them a comprehensive look into tropical and subtropical plant ecosystems. They were also captivated by the charm of Lingnan garden art, admiring its tranquil hills and clear waters, the sweet chorus of birds amid fragrant blooms, and the winding paths that lead to quiet, hidden views. All reflect traditional Chinese gardening philosophy of “learning from nature.” The students expressed deep appreciation for the botanical garden’s accomplishments in green development and its dedication to plant conservation and sustainable use.
