新年伊始，留学生工作办公室组织在校留学生参加新年交流座谈活动，大家欢聚一堂，共贺新年。办公室鼓励和肯定了全体留学生这一学期以来在校学习和生活的优秀表现和取得的良好成绩，并对留学生们送上新年的美好祝福。
At the beginning of the New Year, GAFA International Student Office organized an exchange seminar for international students and celebrated the New Year together with them. International Student Office affirmed international students’ outstanding performance and good achievements in their studies and lives since the start of this semester, and sent them best wishes for 2025.

同时，为进一步强化留学生们的安全防范意识，营造良好的学习与生活环境，保障假期间的各项安全，办公室进行了寒假期间安全教育主题活动，通过案例讲解，从防诈反诈、人身财产安全、宿舍用水用电安全、校纪校规等方面强调了安全重要性，增强了留学生们对维护自身生命及财产安全的意识。
In order to further strengthen international students’ safety awareness, create a favorable learning and living environment for them, and ensure their safety in various aspects of life during the winter holiday season, International Student Office delivered a safety education session through case studies, which covered fraud prevention, anti-fraud controls, personal and property safety, dorm water and electrical safety, GAFA discipline and regulations, etc. The education session enhanced their awareness of safeguarding their lives and property.

2024年，留学生工作办公室通过组织开展“感知中国、学在广美”系列课外教育学习活动，增进了留学生们对中国传统文化的了解和认同，让留学生们在活动中充分感受中国优秀传统文化的活力和魅力，为传播中外友好交流正能量，讲好中国故事，提升学校国际化建设及平安校园建设贡献力量。
In 2024, International Student Office offered a series of extracurricular activities themed “Experiencing China While Studying at GAFA” for international students, which enhanced their understanding and recognition of traditional Chinese culture and allowed them to fully feel its vitality and charm. The activities also contributed to spreading positive energy for friendly exchanges between China and foreign countries, telling China’s stories well, and promoting GAFA’s internationalization and campus safety.
